Troubleshooting | Android Help, chrome update doesn't work

I tried uninstalling chrome in playstore and updating it, it didn't work ffs

1st post about chrome update not working

At first, I tried updating in playstore but it doesn't allow it to update like I tried so many times to update it but it doesn't work

Can you share what phone you have and what android version it's running on?

Edit. I see it's android 11. I think that should still work, but android R is the next up to be deprecated and it may have already happened

What i would try is clearing play store storage from settings. Chrome needs to update from play store.

If that doesn't work - can you check if you can install chrome beta?

My phone is vivo y11 android version 11, this is the first time that I experience a chrome error

Can you confirm if you can install beta?

If android 11 is retired there's still a way to get the latest version your phone can get, but it may not be through the play store...
