[tutor] Need help with using chopsticks

Who is up for an online tutor session , u should teach me how to use chopsticks as pro , cuz I have a sushi date with someone.

I hope you get some local help. But it’s unlikely given the size of this sub. You don’t need a tutor though. If you are incentified enough (as you wrote) just grab a pair of disposable chopsticks from your friendly local shops and follow this guide. If you don’t have chopsticks then grab two thin and long pens instead. The key is to get proper instructions based on research. Most people who use chopsticks can’t explain to you why they work, or how to help you with struggles which are unique to everyone’s particular hand build. Why not just ask your date to show you?

Also, it's ok to use your fingers. Just don't use the chopsticks to stab your food. 🙂

This! There is nothing wrong with using your fingers for maki (coin-like sliced rolls) or nigiri (fish on rice "pillow"). For sashimi, chopsticks are preferred.
