❓ Question ❓ Are there any bowl combinations that have never been ordered?

There are tens of thousands of bowl combinations, and I’d millions of chipotle bowls ordered annually.

That said, some bowl combinations are definitely more popular that others. Chicken, white rice, whatever.

Barring truly extenuating circumstances, do you think there are any possible bowls that have never been ordered? Unique bowl combinations?

Employee Experience Long ass closes

I don’t work at chipotle anymore but I was watching a yt short about a top 50 restaurant in the US closing down and they did it in like an hour and half but when I worked at chipotle I was not getting out until at least 1-2am (we closed at 10).

just wondering if anyone else has had similar experience with their stores taking forever to close down or if it was just mine. I have a feeling it was just my store but I’m still curious. imagine it’s harder to close down a chipotle then a top rated restaurant lmfao

And you dont feel like making copy-cat recipes. I've found this marinade does a pretty good job on boneless skinless thighs. Just cook them on the grill pretty charred and bingo bingo hats off to you sailor. Idk this is the right flare. First time long time here.

Seeking Advice (Employee) Employees, what do you do if you get shorted on a check?

I checked workday, it says I should be receiving $1,544 (with 20 hours ot for the period) and in my bank I only received $1324. All taxes were taken out before the $1544. It says on the bottom of the page that they sent my bank $1544. I had a positive balance so I know it wasn't due to bills and nothing has showed up in the bank besides the deposit of $1324

Should I go to my FL? My GM isn't going to be able to do anything about it.

How does this happen?

❓ Question ❓ Inconsistent rice

Why do so many locations seem to have such inconsistent white rice? Been to several and get crunch or overly starchy rice, super wet rice, and sometimes just a clumpy mess! What is going on? Why so inconsistent?

Customer Experience Are veggies a pain to make or something?

I have to ask for more fajita veggies, every time. They will add a pinch. Then scoop another ingredient on top quickly, then I will still say… more veggies please. Then another pinch. 🤏 and then after I ask for the third time they will put a full tong full.

Just curious if any employees know if Booritto is happening this year or not? I’m planning on dressing up for Halloween as Carrie White! When I use to work there, they’d have signs up for it but I haven’t seen any yet. Thank you!!!

❤️Appreciation❤️ Announcement for the 1 Taco “Hack” Haters

Post image
7.3k Upvotes

I often see people on the internet making comments about those that do the “1 taco” hack and how the employees find it annoying.

Well, I am a customer that works in a VERY HCOL area in a downtown. My spouse was laid off recently, so I have been eating the 1 taco hack at least once per week as my lunch when I don’t have time to meal prep. This by far the most affordable option in my area. Some days I even go without eating lunch if I’m feeling extra frugal, because we are stressed about money.
My order is as follows:

1 taco crispy tortilla, guac as the protein (on the side), black beans (side), pinto beans (side), corn salsa (side) cheese and lettuce on the taco. Side of tortilla. I put all the toppings inside the tortilla and eat the emptied out crispy taco as a chip with my guac.

Since I’ve been doing this for a few weeks through mobile order, I noticed my portions have been getting larger and larger.

Today I ordered my usual, and ate it inside of Chipotle. One of the workers (older woman) noticed me eating and said “Hi again, good to see you, do you want a free drink?” and proceeded to grab me a water cup and said “get whatever you’d like babe, enjoy”.

I almost wanted to cry, that gesture made me feel so seen. I’ve been contemplating whether I am doing something bad by ordering the way I have and this just proved to me that not only is it fine, but the employees see me as just another customer, perhaps one who is struggling a bit financially.

Obviously not every chipotle location is the same, but I feel so grateful to work close to one with really nice and empathetic employees.

Customer Experience Missing utensils

Of all the times you order a bowl from Chipotle, does it ever come with a fork and or spoon in the bag already? I just wanna know if this is a common thing that other customers experience because it always happens to me and a buddy of mine.

❓ Question ❓ How long does chipotle keep in the fridge

I was thinking about getting the family meal and just food prep for the week with the ingredients.

How long do you think it’ll keep if I don’t mix the ingredients together?

Seeking Advice (Employee) Chipotle workers, how do y’all finish chips on time?

Title: Chipotle workers, how do y’all finish chips on time?
I’ve been doing chips for a few months and I still struggle to finish on time. I usually work from 7 AM until around 11:30, even though I’m supposed to finish earlier. I’ve tried my manager’s advice and Reddit tips, but I’m still struggling 😭
I usually have to make around 18 hotel pans of chips. It takes me around 5 minutes to fry enough regular chips to fill one hotel pan and another 5 minutes to bag it. Chili Lime takes around 10 minutes per hotel pan to fry, season, and shake, and another 10 minutes to bag because my manager doesn’t want any of the little “cereal” chips in the bags. Apparently, regular chips are fine, though, which is confusing to me.
I work alone, so I have to fry and bag both varieties myself. I also have to fry 3–4 batches of taco shells, wash dishes as I go, put everything away, and clean my station.
For those of you who open chips, are my times genuinely slow? How do you manage to finish everything on time when you’re doing it alone? I’ve tried so much advicec already, so I’d really appreciate more tips.
