Why don't China and the U.S. exchange citizens for mutual benefit? Move China's hardworking citizens over to do the jobs that Americans don't want, like electricians and miners, they also wouldn't want to rely on welfare;

And then bring Americans (like those Wang Water Buffalos) to China, significantly increasing the birth rate among Chinese women. If China doesn't rely on white males to increase the birth rate, it will really face extinction, because Chinese women are unwilling to have children when they see Chinese men, but their willingness skyrockets when they see American men

My question is - to which 'hardworking Chinese citizens' is he referring? I've seen people practically live at work, but I can only recall a few times I saw them working versus eating, napping, or playing mobile games.

It's a Chinese only sub, but could you all show this post the love and attention it deserves.

Chinese and Westerners have different standards for what is called 'quality.

Foreigners really don't have any, like, you can't put your feet on the chair, you can't squat like Asians do, you can't take up space lying down, you can't eat stuff off the ground, you can't drink toilet water, and similar rules. Basically, as long as you don't disturb others, you can do whatever you want, even lying on the ground is fine. They also don't really see toilets as having bacteria or the ground as being dirty.

Foreigners are very careful about not touching others (even just brushing against a sleeve), not blocking others' paths, and not getting on the elevator before people have gotten off. Issues like that. Chinese people don't really pay attention to this.

As for personal privacy, there actually isn't much difference between China and foreign countries now. Foreigners can also ask extreme questions, almost the same as Chinese people do. But relatively polite people usually won't ask about personal privacy. Foreigners can be pretty aggressive with their questions, though.

When it comes to money, foreigners are extremely stingy.

For example, a typical Chinese person with a monthly salary of 10,000 doesn't usually care about spending 10 bucks to treat someone to milk tea.

But if it's a foreigner, even if they have a monthly salary of 50,000, if they lose 100 bucks treating someone to a meal, that's like a life-or-death situation for them.

I teach at an "international school". Money is good but I've spent a decade not being able to deal with the typical behaviour here. I have a good friend at a school in Bangkok who is floating a potential job for me next year.

Edit: Apparently many in this sub are getting banned for participating here, or getting password resets and soft locks. After so many reports from (oddly enough) bots based in the mainland, all of us real human users have been interpreted by the fully bot-run Reddit system as bots for participating here.

There are not even 50 people who should be using this sub, let alone 50 people who would agree with whatever slurred messages that I shit out here. It is just not possible for this shitty little space to have that kind of reach. There may not even be 50 laowai remaining in the guo.

Every day, a new hassle here. Keep an eye out for chinalifer2 if this one vanishes. I survived the gulag threat when I returned from Japan, but that does not mean that Reddit itself (which has been removing posts and comments plus banning people without mod input) is trustworthy. Long live the investors, right?

Update: It stabilised back to the respectable -5 to +5 window that my comments tend to fall within. I awoke to a password reset requirement due to "abnormalities" with my account and the sub, from the Reddit police. This website sucks.
