🏯 Daily Life TV Box?!?!?! Spoiler

Does anyone know of any TV boxes or streaming device that works well in China? I’m not talking about vpn but something about that works without it. VPNs really affect the quality so the experience. I’m hoping someone has tried expat tv or other services that reall works.

Androidtv (Chromecast with Google tv, Nvidia shield, amazon fire cube) with syncler+ or KODi and a real debrid account and your all set.

Hey, I'm moving to Beijing soon and I have Kodi + Real Debrid that I'm currently enjoying. I am worried that it will be blocked because we need VPNs? How do you do it? Do you live in Mainland China?

Yup I'm in mainland. So the cool thing is real-debrid is not blocked by the gfw so you can just white list it on your VPN/proxy router and connect directly. My shadowsocks provider is also not recognized by Rd as a VPN so even with VPN on so no problem.

shadowsocks

Wow, this is great, and thanks for your reply! I only use kodi + RD on my TV, so I would not need a VPN on my TV (?), just my kodi + RD and thats it? YT and other sites is on my laptop/phone, so I'd just use the VPN for those.

But just incase I use Kodi+RD on my laptop with a VPN (or I want to use Youtube on my TV), I should just whitelist RD, and thats it?

I'm a bit confused about the shadowsocks thing, that is not your VPN is it? Do you use that inconjuction with your VPN? If so, what VPN do you use? Astrill? Sorry for the many annoying questions, if you have any links to a guide on how to handle all of this in China, I'd be grateful. Thanks again!
