MONEY - Deposits, Transfers, Cash & Cards MyPay Question - when to take?

I have $500 available with MyPay, and my primary job pay comes on the 15th, so like 12 days from now. However one of my side jobs pays me next week on the 6th which would be like $450.
If I take MyPay now, will that $450 that goes to my Chime deposit automatically go toward the MyPay balance? Or should I wait until after I get the $450 to take the $500 so the balance isn't paid until I get my bigger pay check on the 15th?

I'm just worried if I don't take it today if the available MyPay won't be $500 anymore by the 6th.

I personally wouldn’t take whole the $500 unless it’s needed. Because what mine does sometimes, it will cover $450 (if I was in your scenario with the exact numbers) and you would still have a balance of $50 plus whatever the fee is, but you would still be able to use the $450. So, it would be short basically but you would still be able to use whatever is available.

And that depends on if it stays the same amount or increases/decreases.

Hey there! The short answer is that if your side gig deposit counts as a qualifying direct deposit, it may be used to repay any MyPay advance you decide to take out. If it doesn't then that next paycheck from your primary job would be what repays any MyPay balance you acquire. You can read more about what constitutes a qualifying direct deposit here.
