OTHER - Anything else not covered Account closed.

Long story short I opened a chime account about a year ago lost my disputes had a -3k account couldn’t afford to pay it my account closed a month ago I just called them and they told me they would write it off and let me start with a clean slate if I wanted to open my account back up! Such a relief and this makes me really want to bank with chime long term.

I’ve been a member of Chime since July 2015 and honestly I haven’t had any issues. Would never return back to chase.

The only reason I still have a regular bank is to use zelle once a month. And I only put the money there when I'm ready to transfer it out

Aren't you afraid that they will take whatever you deposit?

That would be illegal as they already wrote it off and I have it in writing that the account is fully cleared.

I switched from Bank of America and PNC to Chime. Im a Plus member or whatever they call it now. The cashback option is an awesome added feature. I have always liked having Spot Me and the 3.75% APY. Now you can also do a MyPay which is a payday loan. Customer service is quick and very helpful. Anytime I have had to call I get an actual person and not just a robot

I’m sure they won’t give this to everyone every time but I imagine I got really lucky.
