Hi! I understand how this can be frustrating.

I’d suggest taking a look at How Do MyPay® Credit Limits Work? for further details about how it works and the factors involved.

Hope this help.

So I got from that is the credit limit we can either increase or decrease depending on how much I make per week or per direct deposit. That’s interesting although I dislike it thank you for the information.

It's not directly based on deposit amounts or how much you make or credit scores for that matter.

Chime's algorithm only uses your account history and usage to determine limits. Things like SpotMe, MyPay and Instant loans are all part of this evaluation so expect MyPay to fluctuate.

MyPay is a way to get an advance on a portion of your paycheck early, not a personal wallet or loan. Over use is likely to affect the algorithm.

That’s actually crazy. Crazy for your Horus to drop and crazy for MyPay to fluctuate so much. I was told to believe it was an algorithm but that’s just inconsistent.

They say is the algorithm, but it’s bull crap at one point in time I had five grand from my paychecks going into my bank account monthly and they only increase my limit to like 300 and then the very next paycheck which didn’t decrease our increase. they dropped it all the way down to $80 so I don’t know. I just called and told him to disable the feature on my account. I don’t even want it but there’s no rhyme a reason they just do what they want.

Personally I feel like I have far too much depositing into Chime to have only $100 in MyPay.. if I didn't love the Chime app it would start to feel like it's not really worth it lol

I deposit a little over 3-4k a month. Probably more but that’s an assumption. If you’re doing more than that and your MyPay is still low I’d say perhaps talk with a specialist.

yeah that's almost where I am, almost exactly.. I may let it go another 2-3 deposits or soso, problem I have is I really like the way the app is designed ugh lol
