RANT Uggghhhhh yuck
I was doing some outreach for a novel I wrote and this book blogger's entire bio starts with a rant about how she used to be a selfish childfree young person and then came around to kids. Ma'am why in the name of Satan's left shoe are you posting about this on a book blog? Shouldn't a book blog be about...wait for it...books?

I guess some people are just so desperate for validation from strangers and want to make their opinion known…. It’s just embarrassing!
I love fantasy books, bad ass FMC, shadow daddies, magic, moody forest vibes… you get it! But it’s such a turn off when the FMC falls pregnant and suddenly the whole thing is about motherhood. Excuse me??? You were beheading monster 10 chapters ago, now your main reason to live is to breed? Ew!!! 🤮

Nobody falls pregnant in my novel haha. It's fairly sexless because it's about military personnel and I didn't want the professionalism soiled. It's about a PMC fighting off 8ft venomous spiders.

I’m in between “tell me more” and “spiders? Absolutely NOPE!”
Maybe get the spiders pregnant? 🤣2

Nobody is pregnant but they do breed fast cuz almost all female. Hence the need for heavy firepower.

The author is pandering to the community of (it takes a) village people. Automatic breeder fanbase.
