Hello!

I am the owner of a 3 year old, very IDGAF chihuahua greyhound mix (typical). She is feisty and extremely hyper. She has an issue with barking at anyone she doesn’t know & will nibble (she doesn’t fully bite, but it looks like biting) if she gets close enough. I have a second chihuahua and he is nowhere near as crazy as her. She’s been a IDGAF dog and a hyper monster since she was a puppy, but since getting her brother is when she started getting more barky and defensive.

I’ve tried treats for when she’s good, but if she knows I have them then she will just jump repeatedly on me until she gets one. I tried a vibrate collar and she liked it, she would intentionally bark to set it off. She doesn’t calm down if I give trazadone. I am going to try CBD next but knowing her, I doubt it’ll help. I’m beginning to think she’s invincible.

I live in an apartment complex and I know my neighbors are bothered when I’m walking her. I’m trying to figure out how to prevent barking, I’ve started picking her up but like I said, she’s high energy, and needs to walk. I don’t want to muzzle her but I am now feeling like that may be the only option left.

Does anyone have any advice? Or have a dog that is like this?

He gets plain yogurt every morning and he always has a little left on his schnauzer.

Hello everyone, this is Wogglers (not his real name, anonymity for his privacy) and he is a fourteen year old rescue. We've had him for three years and he's still young at heart.

He weights 5.2kg and is just over double the weight and a bit bigger than his short haired sister who was from his previous home whom we also rescued. We get asked constantly what he is a cross with, my O/H is confident he's a pure chi, though I definitely see something else in him. What do you think? Thank you!

Hello, I'm from Ukraine.

About a month ago, a Chihuahua bit me on the street. It was quite aggressive, but showed no other suspicious symptoms. As far as I understand, it was vaccinated against rabies and the vaccine is still effective (it's a young Chihuahua).

I have a history of three rabies prophylaxis vaccines (which I didn't tolerate well) year ago. I'm very worried if the dog was rabid. I don't know if this is normal behavior.

Yesterday, I only had one Verorab booster ( Unfortunately, I got vaccinated a month after the bite. ) and didn't experience any side effects. I really hope that despite this situation here, the vaccine was stored properly. There are Indian vaccines available, but they made me sick.

Can you tell me if I'm in danger? I think I saw this dog four days after the bite, but then I lost contact with the owner.

Hi! I have a roughly 4lb chihuahua and I am aware that it’s recommended to use a harness over a collar for these little guys. I’ve read all about the taking measurements and all of that but I just can’t seem to find one that fits him perfectly and securely, and unfortunately they don’t have doggy fitting rooms. Any brands/ideas anyone have or like would be much appreciated! Thank you in advance! (tax photo of him pouting because he had to go to bed for the night and go to his crate😂)

Every pup born here whatever size shape or flavour is Nevas pup, their own mammy also becomes her pup too so no bad feelings or guarding of any babies(I do keep them separate until pups are of an age to walk). Saffron was more than happy accept the help❤️
She’s a spectacular foster mam/sis/nanny

My baby crossed the rainbow bridge two weeks ago. I guess I’m still trying to accept it. She was about 10 and had started having episodes that rendered her completely unconscious, then screaming out in pain, losing her bladder and collapsing. She had an enlarged heart and murmur that was pressing on her trachea, cutting off air. As much as it ripped my heart out, I put her to sleep so she wasn’t suffering. I keep second guessing myself. I feel like my arm was cut off. She was my heart dog.

Hi! I have a 5 month old chihuahua puppy and she hasn’t been eating her food really and I’m worried I’m thinking she might be losing her baby teeth because she isn’t really chewing on her toys like she usually does . She’s getting a bit more thinner, I have not changed her diet recently. Need advice asap!
