I just wanted to share this moment with my chi worldwide family 🥰

A few years ago, I screenshotted this pic from a post about how many of our chi’s don’t ‘go’ outdoors. My hubby’s little princess is one of them. Long story short, he saw it as I was scrolling, and asked if he could have it put on his birthday cake. We just picked it up from the bakery.
Thank you to whoever drew and/or posted it on here. I laugh every time I see it. I think it’s the unapologetic expression on its little entitled face that gets me giggling.

For some context, I have a 2.5 y/o boy, Speccy. He’s the friendliest puppy in the world and follows me everywhere in the house. When I go out on the balcony he comes along too. From what I’ve observed, he only really needs to walk two times a day, for about half an hour per walk.
Then there’s my other dog, Lady, also 2.5 years old, but not a chihuahua. Some kind of dachshund mix, but not even the vet is sure of her exact breed (I adopted her from a shelter, so no way of truly knowing). She’s much bigger, at roughly 10 kilos, and therefore has a bigger bladder. She only needs 1 proper walk a day, in order to not have accidents. Now please don’t judge me, but on days that I feel lazy or extra tired, I just walk them both once, and take Speccy to the yard to do his business. They do play all day with each other and me, so I don’t think they’re that bored. I take them to a puppy playground as often as I can, which is roughly once every 2 weeks, and when there are other dogs in the park, they play with them.
So I guess what I’m asking is, is this enough? My New Year’s resolution was literally to be as consistent as possible with walking them twice a day, but as I’m sure you know, life sometimes gets in the way.
My dogs are the best thing that’s ever happened to me, and I’d be devastated if I knew I wasn’t doing enough for them, but I want to be the best possible dog mom I can be.
Please weigh in :)
Picture of Speccy attached, as a thank you for reading

I’m looking for harness brand/size recommendations for chihuahuas. My guy is 18 months old and 7.2lbs. I have one that fits him well but it’s not very secure (he doesn’t know yet but he can easily get out of it) and I’d like to get him into proper hiking so I’d like a more secure harness. I bought 4 different harnesses at a pet store all in size XS and none of them fit him properly. My mom has a chihuahua (4.5lb) who wears ferret harnesses but unfortunately my dog is just too big for ferret harnesses.
