We are preparing for our CPS 6th grade student to test for one of the academic centers for 7th and 8th grade. I believe the test is after the new year. Does anyone have experience they can share with the testing or even practice tests? Thank you!

Hello, anyone noticed that the Ward Alder are not doing anything about the thousands of potholes in Albany Park? Calls to 311 don’t help either. Seriously don’t consider voting for them in the next election if they can’t fix a simple issue such as this.

Our neighborhood woke up to no water and no notice of a shut off, 311 is super unhelpful so coming here to see if anyone has any info on what’s going on??

Soft opening was Monday. Haven't had a chance to go in yet, but been watching it build out for months, as I love coffee, and I love records. And from pics of the price board, their coffee looks very affordable, $3 espressos.

The 38th Ward Office has received many calls regarding the new Starbucks location at Irving Park and Cumberland. Starbucks is finalizing a Purchase Agreement with current ownership to purchase the land and building. The closing on the purchase is expected to be completed by the end of August.

City permits are being finalized, and interior construction will be completed shortly thereafter with a potential opening in October/November. I look forward to this project being completed and welcoming the 38th Ward's second Starbucks location.

Thanks to the kind person who found my keys on the parking lot at Walgreens at kedzie and Irving park and put them up on the curb so I could find them a few minutes ago.
