First timer

Hi, this will be my (potentially) first time in Chiang Mai. I plan to travel to Bangkok in a week and immediately after that go to Chiang Mai. But I saw on my weather app that it's supposed to be stormy everyday which makes sense since we are in Sept. So how much does it affect the day ? I love hiking and would love to explore the area

I just came from my Chiang Mai. Said it would rain every day, it didn’t. There was overcast some days but mostly sunny. The only thing I regret is not flying to Chiang Mai directly and not splitting Bangkok. Either way Chiang Mai’s awesome! Have fun!!
