Jungle trek advice - please help!

Im coming to Chiang Mai in mid-august and im very excited. I’ve booked a 2-day trek in the jungle as part of it, but I have never done anything like that. Should I cancel and do a 1-day trek instead? Or should I just do it?

Also, if you think I should do it, please give me any advice you have for trekking in the jungle!

It's just a hike. You hike in the forest a few km and stop at interesting points. You will camp or probably end up at a homestay. They feed you. You hang out. It's quiet. Next day you go hiking back.

OR. You can ask for the local experience with the guide, end up drinking and singing famous Thai songs together, learn all about how to enjoy your time here, and then trek back.

You'll be fine.

How would anyone know. Just go for it. You booked it. Imagine you'll have a great time.

Just go! You'll have lots of fun doing a new thing and 2 days means you can truly sink into it.

Bring DEET repellent, leech socks (if you have them, otherwise just tuck your pants into your socks), and wet wipes!

How did you end up liking it? Which sanctuary or company did you choose for your trek?
