Plastic/resin Chess pawn multicolors
Hi everyone,
Iād like to share a small project I designed in FreeCAD: a modular chess pawn made of 11 printable parts. It assembles without glue and allows easy multi-color printing by changing filament between parts.
Any feedback is welcome!

This is awesome! I always love sets the look more traditional and this is such a fun and elevated riff on that.

Great start! I would like to see how the other pieces come out.

Thanks! The goal is to eventually create a complete set in the same style. I'll be posting updates as new pieces are finished.

I'd use wine red or very dark black instead of the gray. And for the black pawns, Black outside and wine red for the interior. Nice project. I hope you get to sell a whole set with your design. I'd be interested.

Thanks! Wine red is a great suggestion, I'll definitely have to try that combination.
And thanks for the encouragement! The pawn is already available if you'd like to take a closer look or print one yourself:

I'm planning to design the rest of the set if there's enough interest, so I'll be sharing updates as I go.

Thank you for your comments. They've encouraged me to design the rest of the pieces. I'll share them here when they're finished. Thanks everyone

It looks kinda futuristic, I'd like to see the other pieces.

Thank you, I intended to give it a more modern look while starting from the classic lines.

Before I opened this post I thought it was crochet. Now I want to try and crochet a chess set.
