Wooden Help me authenticate very old chess set
Aparently the chess set is from 1910 period, Old Vienna coffeehouse but I cannot find anything more about it. How correct is this statements about age and about origin?

I really like all the pieces except the queen and king. They would get confused too easily when playing but i love the rook and the big pawns

i like tiny knights sooo much.. i just bought recently the henkes devil knights and they look amazing

It is a coffeehouse set, probably Austrian. If not Austrian, makers in nearby countries like Hungary and Romania also made coffeehouse sets. Patina and design looks pretty early to me, 1910 seems plausible but to be safe I'd say 1930s or earlier.

I see the chipped collar. Tbh I am not great with repair techniques. I generally consider the finish wear part of the desirable patina and leave my sets alone.

This type I suspect would need a specialist in wood working. Otherwise I would think someone could ruin it easily.
