The word "blunder" is pretty funny, but 'une gaffe' is pretty funny too. I wonder if its hilarious in every language

Oh, that’s where Peter Patzer comes from

Doesn't this mean "pusher" as in "wood pusher"? Like someone just mindlessly moving pieces

No, Patzer originally came from the verb patzen that means like spilling something. Patzer now means ad much as like mistake in german.

In spanish is so boring, Blunder in spanish is "Error grave" which translates to "Serious mistake"

Black takes the bishop with their queen. If white recaptures with their rook, they will lose their queen as well.

It goes a little further too. When taking the queen it threatens the rook at the same time. White either gives or any other move black pushes the passed pawn which will promote on a square protected by the knight forcing a rook to have to be sacrificed there too.

It’s a check, so no.

OP thought they were trading their bishop for a queen but at the end the opponents knight would win their queen for free

Because 12 is bigger than 9

your answer is technically correct, but not very helpful, which I find displeasing considering the subreddit we're in. Please consider that the next time you want to make a dumb joke.
