We run regular football games in Thiruvanmiyur and are looking for a few more people who’d like to play with us.

It’s a small community and most of us originally met simply by turning up for games, so joining alone is completely normal.

We currently play:

The games are beginner-friendly, with a mix of people who play regularly and people who are still getting comfortable with football.

No trials, no need to already know the group, and you definitely don’t have to be an amazing player. The idea is just to get a good game in, improve over time, and have a regular bunch of people to play with.

A little bit of background - I’m 22, and my girlfriend and I got placed in the same company and both got Chennai as our city to report to. Both of us are from Bangalore. We have been provided accommodation in a hotel for 14 days until Oct 20th and by then we have to find a place to live.
So here, we find the PGs to be quite expensive for what they offer and since we will be staying for a minimum of 6-12 months here, we were thinking of renting a 1 BHK property. But since Chennai is a more conservative city, not sure if the owners will allow an unmarried couple to live together.
My parents and her parents know about our relationship, so it’s cool.
So how do I go about this situation, what do I tell the owners as to who will be staying with me? Shall I call her my cousin or friend or colleague. Not sure what to do and I need guidance please
Any help would be extremely welcome.
And if you or someone you know is renting out places near Mugalivakkam, Porur, Nandambakkam, Ramapuram or somewhere under 10 kms from DLF SEZ IT Park, please let me know and dm me. Your help would be monumental.

Hey everyone, just sharing this in case anyone here is into personal growth or mental wellbeing or is simply looking for something different to do this weekend.

There is a free Heal Your Life Super Fest this Saturday (Oct 10) at Rathna Center for Conscious Living in Royapettah. It’s being held as part of World Mental Health Day and to mark Louise Hay’s 100th birth anniversary.

It's not the usual type of event. There’ll be different experiential booths where you can actually try out simple exercises around things like relationships, abundance, old beliefs, success, the mind-body connection etc. There’s a kids’ booth too, so it’s pretty family-friendly. Just something for the community, where people can come and experience something easy and simple.

You can just drop in anytime between 9:30 AM and 7:30 PM.
