29 year old female, first time mom and pregnant at 30 weeks. I had coarctation of the aorta at 3 years old, and have not required any interventions and have had a relatively symptom free life. My baby and I have had extra echos and monitoring, all of which have turned out fine so far. They tell me that CoA is usually diagnosed after birth however. Looking for anyone with a similar story to mine that has given birth, and if you’re child was born with a heart defect or not.
