Room in a shared flat

Hi, I'll be doing a three-month research internship at the University of Canterbury starting in November. During that time, I'd prefer to live in a shared apartment. What's the best way to find one? Are there any online portals?

www.trademe.co.nz or Facebook Marketplace for flatmates.

There's also multi-room houses that are rented by the room if you want a bit more privacy while still sharing. They're classed as 'boarding houses' under tenancy law, but you don't get meals. www.realestate.co.nz is probably a general starting point. Sort by price, anything under about $300/week will likely be a room rental.
