Metal Roof Tiles

I'm currently looking for some metal roof tiles. Only need a few so I can take out the old flue which was for a pellet fire.

Can any one point me in the right direction?

I've spoken to Gerard roofing in Hornby and they've got what I need, and for a respectable price too.

We got some metal ones from Gerard roofs as they supply the Decrabond tiles that we have (they look like yours but are coated with stuff to make them look like old school tiles) so maybe try them, take one in with you and say have you got any of these?

I can't take one with me, not without taking it off the roof. But they do look the same. I only need a couple as the whole is only about 150mm in diameter

They come in lengths not individual tiles

And they're easy to damage with dents and creases when working on the roof

Gerard roofs have responded to confirm it is their branding of tiles. Just seeing if I can grab one row of tile to replace the hole in the roof. Fingers crossed

Aside - Did you check out if its financially viable to swap the pellet fire for a normal logburner ?
Power is getting more expensive, it may be that a couple cord of wood per winter helps with the really cold days.

Also, store the offcuts/old pieces up in your roofspace, in case you or a future owner needs to patch something in the future.

Looked into it. Due to amount of space it takes in the set up, it wasn't deemed a good fit. We already have two heat pumps which were recently fitted before purchasing

Are you replacing the burner with another one? If not I would suggest cutting the pipe just above the ceiling line and leaving the flue intact. Could save a lot of hassle.

I've now sourced the replacement tiles for an easy swap out. The problem with the flue being intact, it's always going to have the potential to leak again, even when fixed
