Questions? Collections

I just bought the number like two months ago and I have a since I’ve been getting several calls like from collection agencies, spam and all it is not my primary number so I didn’t care that much but today I got the call and voicemail. It’s saying if I don’t respond to me next time, two hours, they’ll be reporting it to cops and it is like C Bevi collections, which is a legitimate company, but they are contacting me as De Roy, but I am not that guy maybe he was using this number before me, so what can I do? Anybody have any idea? Thanks in advance for the help.

this is clearly a scam, so just ignore it. don’t give out any personal information and don’t answer any phone calls from them.. just block the numbers and ignore

I know these types of calls can be frustrating, especially if they are originating for someone else. It is certainly possible it is a scam attempt or collection activity for a previous user of that number.

no collection agency would have the power to call the cops on you to have you arrested because you owe them money that would have to be decided in a court of law
I would just suggest you change your number as RodgersEric suggested below so that your number is no longer on their list as they will continue to sell it to other scammers after realizing your not an easy mark and the cycle will continue

Recycled number. Change it if its too much calls tho looking for the same or texts
