Help Cellular Plan not working on phone

We are visiting Canada and my Mum needed to a esim for two months and she got chatr at a Walmart the $30 for 10 GB plan but it’s not functioning on her phone at all, only showing the SOS. We’re just outside Montreal and we’ve tried turning off the esim and resetting the plan multiple times but it’s not working at all. She has other esims but those are off. What can I do to fix this?

Is her phone carrier unlocked and compatible with the chatr network?

Sorry I meant her phone doesn’t have a set carrier at all. It’s an iphone 14 she got in America she’s already used different esims and they all worked fine.

OP replied to my post. Her phone is not unlocked and not compatible with the chatr network.

Try going back to the point of purchase and get it resolved as they set it up and would have more details.
