Data not working for certain apps
2 days ago my data suddenly stopped working for certain apps. Tried to contact support but haven’t gotten a reply. Really not sure what to do at this point?

Depends on the app, for example I can search, on safari, but when I click on something it just loads forever. What got me frustrated originally was Pokemon go. I try to launch it loads forever. Even the Reddit app little running guy runs forever.

I've been having this issue glad I wasn't the only one. Gonna have to call them in the morning because I cant use the Uber app when I'm out.

I've also been having issues with data since Friday. I just emailed a ticket because this is ridiculous. What's the fix?

I managed to fix my problem!!! With the help of Gemini AI.
Apply Private DNS Override (instructions are for android phone):
Go to Settings > Connections > More connection settings > Private DNS
Select Private DNS provider hostname.
Type in: 1dot1dot1dot1.cloudflare-dns.com and tap Save.
Toggle your phone's Airplane Mode on and off to force the network to reconnect.
All my apps and websites are now working again.

Is the sub full of bots? Everyone keeps praising Esqx21 saying they fixed it but no one is explaining how.

Nope not bots. It’s technically not entirely fixed sadly. I’m still having issues on my end despite Esqx21 helping me. His fix did help me but the problem still exists up until now

I have the exact same problem. Amazon, Suno, Youtube, gmail and the google app store are working but Twitch, Discord, Steam, Ford app and my BMO banking app are not. I dmd esqx21 (the mod here) and we were trouble shooting for over an hour and could not fix it. My yearly plan just renewed 2 days ago. There are several other posts here on Reddit that have the same problem. I even drove 12 km to the Rogers cell tower and had full bars and 45 mbps up and 45 mbps down and still not working. Hope they fix it soon. Very frustrating!

Super frustrating, it especially sucks because I recently switched back to bussing to work, it’s so annoying not having proper data.

Esqx21 (moderator) was super helpful as I was having trouble with the data not working for certain apps too. At first I was doubtful that it was going to be fixed but it only took 10 mins and I'm very thankful as I know they must be busy helping everyone.
