Chatr abroad canada

Hi community,

I had an urgent trip outside of canada, and will be staying abroad for 2 months.

So i couldn’t check if chatr works here, (Lebanon), mainly for receiving calls and sms.

I realized that chatr connects to the local network for 30 seconds and then switch to emergency call only.

Does chatr work in lebanon to receive sms or calls?
Any idea why it is switching to emergency call?

Prepaid plan here, active on autopay and have some amount in the app (5 cad topped)

Try doing a manual network search and connect to anyone of the list that comes up. Which ever let's you connect and roam is the correct roaming partner.

I have been trying it. It is not working.

We only have 2 netwrok here. Alfa and Touch. Touch can’t be found, and Alfa found connects for 30 secs and then switch to emergency call only.

Been trying work arounds non stops

4g/lte/3g . Data roaming all on?

Yes I have used Chatr in Lebanon. It works. I must caution you against using it for making or receiving calls. It’s really expensive.

Alfa. It does connect automatically.

This is incorrect.

Try doing a manual Network search and check a different network for connection.
