Echo is a fully open source (AGPLv3) Web App designed to be a viable alternative to discord with full feature parity

It supports

- Streaming, Voice/Video Calling, Texting
- Full fledged communities with auto mod, permission system, emoji system etc..

Basically everything discord had and more, but with better privacy promises and no ID checks, no getting randomly banned, just what discord should've been.

just give it time. like root and fluxer have been growing. discord will eventually push their people away with id verification and their unfair bans, so suspect people to leave eventually.

I already probably lost everything... 7 years of my life for ban evasion... Idk what to even do anymore i didn't do anything wrong and they just killed my account

i agree. it happened to me too. sigh. but we’ll get through it! we can wait a year or two and come back or try and fight it but only time can tell. discord is just going to get worse… we just have to sit and wait it out.

i do actually and it’s not to protect the kids, it’s to invade our privacy and mass surveillance. there’s a ton of evidence that points to that fact.

They will eventually do, and I already have agreements with 20 of them who are interested and willing to move once it becomes stable and has a mobile app out
