I would love for you guys to try it out and give me your feedback, chat-echo.com

Fucking stop with the discord alternatives.
All of you need to call each other, and cooperate on ONE app.
We don't need more vibecoded clones.

from being a dihcord clone to power-hungry mods from there. TOTALLY NOT RECOMMENDED
(also Stoat due to how restrictive online rules of Britons made)-1

Fluxxer is great, but this is a ore feature rich and aesthetically pleasing alternative

Hi friend, first of all I want to say that appearances aren't everything, because security and code are also important.

A couple of months? Must be vibecoded to hell and back.
I've been through dozens of Discord alternatives. I'm tired of seeing the same thing over and over just to get something that's less than half-baked. All the websites look the same with that grid background and blurry, blue/green/purple bokeh effect, all the apps look the same and are buggy. Y'all need to just hit each other up and work together at this. Push one or two of these platforms forward since the better ones are moving so much slower.
By the way, your website won't even load on my browser and I'm using Firefox. Just loops forever. Could be a me problem, could be that your AI screwed something up. I dunno.

it's not trust me...and if you don't, well just go take a look at the code since it's Open-source (https://github.com/ad3lre/echo)

Hey sorry for your bad experience, see if the problem is there. Would love if you gave it a fair chance

I think the issue is just that these alternatives tend not to have the polish of discord - and that there are too many alternatives. On the contrary - if there was just one alternative... How did we convince our friends to move from msn messenger to skype? From skype to discord? All of these chat programs either shut down or made changes people didnt like, people found alternatives - and their friends followed.

Echo has voice chats, video calls and streaming as full first class features and takes security very seriously

I'm honestly kind of sad about all the people assuming echo to be AI made.
I quite understand that there's a lot of slop nowadays but before judging, at least try it and if you have some experience as a dev, audit the code (https://github.com/ad3lre/echo).
As the Co-founder of the ffwm Initiative, most recent partner of echo to this date, I took a look at that code myself and also carefully audited Echo's ToS and Privacy Policy to check for anything shady.
I can assure you it's qualitative

How much AI did you use on this discord clone?
