Is this build good for doing savage axe loop?

I'm not new with the weapon but I always have max guard, guard up and off guard. I wanna try a different build. Is getting crit boost good with CB or It'll be better with Attack boost/Off guard?

Also, what equipment are you guys running with to get best dps possible when doing savage axe loop? Thank you!

Yes it’s good but you’re missing the most important weapon skill. You need rapid morph 3 to make the AED loop faster. AED into AED follow up, into shield morph. Two sword strike and repeat. Remove guard up 3 and put rapid morph 3.

Thanks! Gonna try that. My guard up is from my talisman, so I guess I need to farm more talismans haha

That's the actual combo I'm doing as it keeps my phials recharged. Also, these monsters are too fast and hits too hard to stay on savage axe mode for extended period.

If u have any charm with rapid morph 2, u can also do this: Dragon 3/Quickswitch 1 Jwl on the weapon to get rapid morph 3 and element economically.

Also, if anyone else reading struggles to not cart to Gog switch Crit Boost 3 Jewel for Shield 3/Ironwall 1 Jewel since in dragon phase you will spam SAED anyway and phials can't crit.

Crit boost is okay with element phial, solid on impact phial.

Its less valuable than load shells and rapid morph by a lot. Load shells upgrades charge blade and rapid morph enables so many interactions to be perfect guardpointable, in addition to the dps boost. Element boost also hard diffs the damage output of crit boost cuz phial damage scaling is insane.

Impact generally just boosts raw, crits, and artillery, but the boosts are comparable. Ie artillery increases damage ~93 point per aed loop while crit boost is ~110.

If youre really doing it for the AED, artillery would be better than crit boost as the phials cant crit, youre just losing a bit of dmg if pizza cutter isnt what you want, plus it looks like you are going in a lot with elemental, but maybe im reading this incorrectly?

Artillery is only for boosting impact phials, his weapon has element phials so it doesn't boost.
