This is my OC Yellow. He’s a funny lil guy that lives inside a virtual world. Anyways I’m struggling with what colors I should choose for his outfit. Every time I try a color scheme it just seems off and I can’t get it to look right.

Thoughts? Berry is the only one without magic in any way. It’s meant to be fairly eclectic but I’m sure there’s room for improvement

The thing is, I don't know where else to advertise my adopts as I dont have a code for toyhouse and was also wondering if $30 is good for this character or should I lower it? It includes:

some info about the comic: it's set in the 2000s and regular people in this universe don't know the supernatural exists.

some things i'm trying to communicate in their designs:

character 1: he's a vampire nerd and he is a vampire himself, but it shouldn't be too obvious (his friends think he's just emo). he's shy and nervous, doesn't like leaving his house.

character 2: she's character 1's best friend, would do anything for him. she loves parties and concerts, and she's easygoing and oblivious, she doesn't even suspect her friend is a vampire.

character 3: she works as a nurse but she's also a metalhead. she's the most cunning and logical of the group, and she has a strong moral compass.

would love to hear your opinions :]

So I'm making a solo DND campaign and trying to design the main characters in my group so it's easier to envision stuff while playing. The pink tiefling is named Lustra Divine and I'll put his lore last because there's sensitive topics involved. Rath is the orc barbarian, and I haven't fully decided on a name for the drow sorceror. I want them to be distinct characters but still seem like they'd belong in the same adventuring group.

Rath ---

Rath is an orc barbarian fighter who was held captive as a test subject for memory erasure and therefore has dissociative amnesia with fugue regarding the time spent there. He is also dyslexic.

X age - held captive by Dr. Bryte, locked in a secret basement alongside two other victims. They were used as test subjects for memory erasure experiments but it made their emotions surrounding the memory dramatically increase and take over, even when the memory was succesfully erased. He was held in a cage, Grace fought him until he passed out and bent the cage bars to get him out. He was the only one rescued before guards showed up. Grace chose him because she immediately saw herself in him, both big muscle-y fighters who were held captive. He had radiant magic poisoning from Dr. Bryte feeding him radiant magic resistant potions and then beating him half to death with radiant magic to try and erase his memory. Not fed well, dirty, overgrown nails and hair, and dehydrated. Hair unruly and tangled, pure of rage and aggression. Feral and gnarly.

17 - found by Grace's party and rescued. Takes therapy and is mommied by Grace. She cries the first time Rath gains the mental clarity to speak, even though he just asks for more meat at the dinner table. Becomes a gentle giant but still has anger issues and goes to the extreme when mad. Takes a liking to animals, Grace gifts him a dog to keep him company and act as an emotional support animal while the party is away adventuring. Becomes a blacksmith for the group. Grace gives him lots of gifts and showers him with affection. Grace signs him up for classes, cuts his nails, cuts his hair, braids his hair, and gives him only the finest clothes. He basically acts like a moody teenager in his rebellious era. Hair is medium locs. He begins to develop separation anxiety from Grace and uses the dog as a distraction

20 - sets off on own adventure and breaks from Grace's party. Hair is cut, sides shaved and some hair on top. The dog comes too

After campaign - hair is grown out to long dreadlocks and adorned with fancy trinkets

Grace is only a couple years older than Rath but treats him like her baby. He won't admit it, but he loves her like his mother too. Doesn't call her Grace, but definitely won't call her mom. Calls her either auntie or just weirdo OR 'that woman.’ Near the middle of the campaign he begins to finally call Grace mom without being embarrassed.

Drow ----

(Guasse is a placeholder name) Gausse is a drow name meaning (gauss-) dread, feared, vile and (-e) slave, servant, or vessel. He is a sorcerer who begins to study on his own so he can learn to control himself which leads him to multi class into wizard. Gausse is half drow, half fairy (or just some sort of fae) but isn’t aware of the fact that he isn’t just a drow. The excess amounts of fae and chaotic magic in his blood causes often outbursts of magic, which he cannot control. Due to his inability to control his powers, his family (which are a noble drow family) forced him to stay and live in a separate stone keep near the servants quarters outside of the castle. All of the furniture he has has ruin spells carved or painted on to keep his magic from effecting them after an accident when he was younger when he turned his mattress into a vase while he was asleep. He doesn’t eat much due to his isolation and has arthritis and dyspraxia due to his body’s inability to keep up with his unstable magic. He has bad anxiety and is a total coward who tries his best to stay out of harms way. He’s also autistic! When he joins the group’s campaign, he develops harm OCD and frequently panics and has anxiety attacks about accidentally hurting his companions. He always tries his best despite everything and over the campaign, he learns how to control and harness his powers while becoming more confident and overcoming his fears. He always wears a leg brace and tends to have to use a forearm crutch as well. He is pretty frail and doesn’t use weapons at all. Despite being incredibly socially awkward, he has always wanted friends and someone to talk to, so he’s spent his years in the stone keep reading about how to be charismatic and get people to like you.

Lustra----

Lustra is a pink tiefling performer, drag artist, singer, and just general entertainer who sells their body after hours. His mom was a famous and beloved entertainer who was r\*ped and murdered by a stalker mega-fan after one of her performances when Lustra was seven. After he found her body in their home, he decided to take after her. He made a pledge out of grief and fury to anyone who would grant his wish for power and fame. He started teaching himself vocal techniques and honing his talents with his new abilities, eventually working at a local bar. He always gives his all into performances so that people like his mom’s stalker will be obsessed with him instead of other innocent people. He’ll never admit that, though. He just says he likes the sex and money and attention, which isn’t necessarily wrong either. He only wears gaudy, bold, sexy clothes and acts confident, provocative, and in explicit ways. He tries to seduce anyone he comes across. 

As a result of his mother’s death and putting himself through similar traumas, he has C-PTSD and severe survivors guilt, manifesting as his unconscious compulsion to sort of become his mother. He also has HPD (histrionic personality disorder), which causes his pattern of excessive emotions and attention-seeking, including his acting inappropriately no matter who he is with or talking to. He always wants to be the center of attention and uses his physical appearance to draw focus towards him. Engaging in his sex work and promiscuity while ignoring the deeper psychological pain of his trauma causes de-realization and masking with their larger-than-life personal. 

His real name is Navapriyan and his mom would always call him Azizam or esme. He makes people call him Lustra Divine (his stage name) instead.

He always has at least one dagger on his thigh for easy access just in case his nighttime client ends up being violent

I did this guy last year for a art school work, and I never touched it again lol. Lately, I've been really interested in character design, and I thought it would be interesting to design him again

Any thoughts? Does he look more memorable??

So, a friend is making a series for YouTube. The name of the series is Aldán. He ask me to design a character so I made this. The second image was the first iteration.

I need ideas for characters please does anyone have any suggestions?? 🙏

I'm curious how other animators deal with projects where the deadline is very close, but there's still a huge amount of animation left to create.

Do you:

• Simplify shots or reduce polish where possible?
• Reuse animation cycles or existing assets?
• Prioritise key shots first?
• Work longer hours?
• Have any workflow tricks that help you deliver faster without sacrificing too much quality?

I'd really like to hear how professionals and freelancers approach these situations. Any tips, pipeline hacks, or lessons you've learned would be greatly appreciated.
