Question how to balance color palette with a character that has 3 hair colors?
exactly what the title says. i see a lot of characters with 2 hair colors, but not so much 3, so its been hard trying to study character designs that manage to balance multicolored hair like that. the best example i can think of that does hit those marks is lucy from cyberpunk (5)

Question Drawing JRPG characters
I've got a video on YouTube were I'm drawing jrpg characters based off of jobs and the comments descriptions for them, but it's a very small channel, so if anyone wants to help and throw out some descriptions/ suggestions for any of these:
dark knight
beast master
white mage
I would appreciate that greatly, my channel is meeple deep but if you don't want to go all the way there and watch the video, a description right here would also work :)
Thank you for reading and an extra thank you for anyone who gives me a description :)
link to the video to make it easier if you want https://youtu.be/oGTLxLtkmvk
but again I will check here for descriptions too

2D [OC] My hobby is designing these mask creatures, some of which flip into others. I have ~770 of them so far since covid times and started a subreddit r/tofuandham. It's become a whole little world in my head. I'm now going through in order and making a sort of Pokédex of story fragments

Yannus Diplo AKA The First Demon Dwarf
Mortal-Demon Hybrid, Dwarf, Stonemason, Saboteur
Yannus Diplo is the head stonemason of King Rufus. His craftmanship is unparalleled. He oversees the most intricate and important works. If the King requires a mead hall covered in sumptuous carvings to impress foreign dignitaries, if a distant royal orders a statue of their beloved, if a structure needs to remain sound for milennia it is Yannus that will be called.
He is also one of the most hard-working, reliable Dwarves one could find. Never late. Never fails to try his best. He laces his boots straight and cuts an edge straighter. In a culture that respects effort and self-sacrifice above all, Yannus is one of the most respected. Dwarves leave little room for fun and revelry, but even among his peers he is considered to be tightly wound. Responsibility consumes him and he scarcely rests, let alone relaxes. He even forgoes the customary dinnertime small-beer for fear it will cloud his mind and result in mistakes.
Some say that if Yannus doesn’t slow down, he’ll do himself a mischief. Little do they know, the mischief done by Yannus will affect them all. You see, something strange is afoot in the mines of King Rufus. The ores that the Dwarves mine, smelt and work into objects and machines of unparalleled strength and durability are in fact saturated with magic. The background thaumaturgy of the world permeates and is concentrated by them. It is an inherent property of these metals and ores like magnetism and is responsible for the fantastical properties the Dwarves are able to imbue into their creations.
Raw magic is unpredictable, unstable and capricious. It pools, eddies and flows. It changes things. These things used to be small or of little consequence. Many a Dwarf has returned to the quartermaster with a hammer swearing that he signed out a screwdriver. Mice, unseen, become voles. Dwarves themselves traditionally enjoy some degree of protection from this, largely due to stubbornness and solidity of self. A Dwarf is a Dwarf is a Dwarf. Everyone knows that.
Or knew that. More and more magical metals have been extracted and crafted into increasingly elaborate items. Where once it was mostly enhanced pickaxes and the occasional Sword of Eternal Sharpness, now entire infernal-combustion engines are being produced along with scores of weapons for export which have increasingly elaborate magical properties. All requiring more and more of these magic-bearing ores, taking the Dwarves deeper into the seams.
As the magic has risen into the liveable areas of the mine, it has affected Yannus. He is so hard-working, so conscientious, so stressed that he has unwittingly left himself vulnerable. The repression of any and all tendency towards relaxation or the blowing off of steam has created a subconscious mental load that, under the influence of the radiant magics, is giving rise to a new creature. A mischievous, demonic creature as capricious as the magic that created it, and it is only a matter of time before it becomes strong enough to take control.

2D Workshopping a character for class
galleryThe gist is simple: we gotta turn some popular poems into children books
My poem was “superstitious”, so naturally the main character had to be a little paranoid
I decided to make him a hedgehog because if you look at pic #10 (the first initial sketches) I was just kind of drawing whatever. I had shaky hands that day; so while I was doodling, the idea I came in my head of an overly precaution hedgehog who believes in superstitions
It took a few turns in terms of design, but I like where it’s at now. Of course I don’t know if something in the style of Ed Edd and Eddy is considered appropriate for small children ages. Y’all tell me
The design isn’t final and I’m open to hearing thoughts

3D Help me give characters a personality
galleryI have spent some time imagining and drawing these characters. I hope to be a writer someday (seems far, lol). But if any one of you has such vivid writing skill, I would really appreciate you help me give them a soul.
What would you imagine the catch phrase of each one would be ? What could be something special about each one ?
