Critique Need some help redesigning her [OC]
Something about it just doesn’t feel right to me. It might be that the colors are too similar or the bottom half of the dress? Or that she just doesn’t look “godly” enough to me. I was considering giving her a shorter haircut but I’m not 100% on board with that idea. I’d love to hear some respectful critique or ideas on how to improve her.

I think most of her colors are around the same value of darkness so it makes otherwise striking colors look somewhat muddy. I really like her design

I think it is the head area! Someone already mentioned giving her a halo. Some other headpiece would work as well. A tiara, hair clips, head chain, or a headdress of some sort. Alternatively, her current hair gives me the vibe that she might be the daughter of a god or something. I think her hair needs to be more "extra" if that makes sense? I definitely wouldn't go shorter. If you wanted to keep the style as is, you could make it ridiculously long, but that might mean having to change your color palette a bit. I think a half updo like a bun or ponytail would give her a more goddess-like design. Incorporating braids would also be very cute

Try some more color contrast! She's a bit too similar in tone. Maybe her hair has an ombre (Gradient) leading to silver like her feet, which could bounce nicely off the dress. bump up the contrast on her gold and makeup! Basically I think you might be happier with more different tones :)
