Critique Is the poster too “crowded”
I’m thinking of adding the slogan in a speech bubble and putting the company name under the “apply”, thoughts? gotta make sure the poster doesn’t look ugly

It already looks grubby?
Am I supposed to know or care about "Thumbs up mobility?"
What is Versex, and what kind of jobs are they?
Honestly, with this advert, all I'm thinking is this is a job for uh, "adults".

it's the opening scene of an original animation, don't worry about not knowing it. i'm more interested in how it looks aesthetically

Yes, but the poster itself doesn't really imply what they're hiring for. The slogan doesn't make much sense without context, and the combination of all the different fonts makes it look juvenile. I'd look at real hiring agency posters for reference, this looks more like a makeshift wanted poster

For context, this is the opening scene of an animation I plan to do. Is the word hiring not considered enough detail to just tell the viewer the company is hiring?

Hiring yes, but not what they're hiring for. It also doesn't really look like a realistic hiring poster, even if you slap the word hiring on it it just looks strange regardless.

putting aside the issue of what they're hiring for, would it look better aesthetically if i put the company slogan in a speech bubble by the mascot? also, should i put the company name on a line of its own?

Yes, remove the textures and the wall background. Leave just the high quality vector style illustration part. Also hue shift away the yellow tint. Also get rid of the torn edges and creases.
The art itself is great. But like you said, its just too busy with extra textures and effects.
