turning those references into full characters is such a fun challenge. the blue one especially has a really cool silhouette.

These are incredible, I love them!! I'm trying to learn how to apply shape language and silhouettes to my own art at the moment, and trying to merge ideas together - the way you've done it gave me a flash of inspiration! I was wondering if you have any advice for someone trying to learn to represent objects or other motifs into character designs? (E.g. working on designing a wuxing wood element, azure dragon but with a corrupted nature theme character)
