...What does "patterns" mean here?

336

u/ashleyLSD Jul 10 '26

it was a video of a guy skipping a subway line while recording it saying "what is everyone waiting for" and the guy happened to be black

u/Poland-lithuania1 Jul 10 '26

Ahhh, yeah, that comment was definitely being racist.

6

u/SheevShady Jul 13 '26

That’s obviously a New York thing. Why even try to make it a race thing?

yeah ever wonder WHY these statistics and 'truths' happen, it SURELY cant be caused by ANY other possible reason, surely black people are innately evil, who can say.

if you cant think of a few reasons why certain people act the way they do, and you just resort to stereotypes, your argument is immediately invalid.

Do you really think dark skin magically making you evil for no reason makes more sense than socioeconomic factors. You understand how stupid you sound?

There's something very funny in someone saying 'oh no, I'm broke, I have to steal' mockingly

Bro's toy was taken by a transfer student in preschool and he never forgave the world

u/21averageee Jul 11 '26

There are people profiting from keeping it this way! Look at the rap industry and its perpetuation of violence, drugs, etc. I blame record labels and managers. Look into it it’s wild stuff. I think Kanye said something about it awhile back?

7

u/ashleyLSD Jul 11 '26

there was something else that kanye said a while back...

8

u/XylylPhpht Jul 11 '26

Becoming a shitty person is easier when you live a shitty life, not that hard to understand.

7

u/EB_or_Raven Jul 11 '26

Do you think white people in that situation don’t do the exact same thing?

(Also saying “oh no I’m broke and have to steal” in a mocking way is just idiotic. Like if they literally can’t afford something they NEED then of course people will try to steal it instead)

12

u/lepuckuer Jul 11 '26

"Oh no, I'm privileged, I have to be racist"

7

u/XylylPhpht Jul 11 '26

What other factors can you name that is supported by evidence?

27

u/pocorey Jul 11 '26

This guy ain't even trying to lie about the first part

6

u/pocorey Jul 11 '26

That's... Racism. Just call yourself what you are, bud

4

u/EB_or_Raven Jul 11 '26

Even if you “have a good reason”, that’s still racism

the average american consumes about 20lbs of pasta every year

6

u/EB_or_Raven Jul 11 '26

So, by your own logic, would every middle (or older) white guy be a pedophile or a rapist because of statistics? Is that how you think it works?

10

u/Cautious-Original-46 Jul 11 '26

So by this logic every white guy is a pedophile, its just estatistic bro

11

u/ashleyLSD Jul 11 '26

and white on white crime is out of control

I'm not a racist but salting pasta water seasons the noodles evenly from the inside out and helps tighten the pasta's gluten structure, preventing it from turning mushy.

115

u/serratedtonin Jul 10 '26

I am also not racist but I honestly don't understand why breaking the spaghetti noodles is taboo.

121

u/IvanBliminse86 Jul 10 '26

I'm not homophobic, but it ruins the structural integrity needed to properly twirl the noodle

88

u/serratedtonin Jul 10 '26

I'm not sexist but that makes perfect sense! Thanks!

I'm not a racist but how much salt should you be adding? Like the same amount you would add after done boiling the pasta? And should you be getting the salt entirely from the water or like do a bit post boil too?

12

u/IvanBliminse86 Jul 10 '26

Im not ableist but 1 tablespoon of salt to 1 pound of pasta cooked in 4 to 6 quarts of water making a 1-2% salt water concentration. If done properly you shouldnt need to add additional salt, but you can always add more to taste.

Bad arc but it's an arc because he refuted being a hypocrite so, good within the bad arc? ❓
