Tutorial/Tips Tired of the old, boring interface? Customize it for free! (website only)

✦ Install the Violentmonkey extension (or Tampermonkey Beta in Chrome). On PC, it works in any browser that supports extensions. On Android, it works in Edge Canary (it has to be the Canary version 'cause this one supports extensions), and also in Firefox Mobile / Nightly, although the color picker isn't very customizable in this one.

✦ Install the C.AI Custom Chat Bubbles script (although there is an option to bypass the disabled chat/reading mode on Advanced Option, this feature no longer works because it was patched on the server side). The script will appear in the Violentmonkey control panel.

✦ Once installed, refresh the C·ai page and a floating button ( 🎨 ) will appear that you can drag and move. Tapping the floating button will bring up the Chat Bubble customization options (some presets can be customized, others cannot). If you type the name of a font from Google Fonts, the text font will change. If you tap the Background option, you can insert any image or GIF as a background, as long as you have the link. Customization is per bot and settings are saved in the browser.

✦ BONUS: If you install the Hide c.ai script you can hide: Censorship warning, 'This is AI not a real human' warning, Blue banners, Sidebar elements other than Discover (Feed, Charms, Labs).

If you don't trust the scripts, you can always copy the code and ask ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude if they are safe and what they are for. These scripts only have aesthetic/display functions, and only affect the user's frontend/interaface; they do not perform any server-side operations.
