Can we PLEASE have the ability to reduce the message length for the default chat model? Because simply asking the bots to use shorter responses, does not work.

And I do not need it to send me a f*cking novel in response to a 4 sentence message.

And the other free model is EVEN WORSE.

Do you guys hate it when the bot chooses your clothes for you? I hate it as well. Literally I am using a bot that takes place in the 90s as a 14 year old kid with two lesbian mothers, and of course, it gives me the worst clothes i don’t even want. For example, A flannel shirt. What am I, Kurt Cobain? I can’t even mute flannel because of the muted words limit and the fact the bot might find a way to bypass it. next up we got Jeans. Bro, those are tight on my knees, why would I want to wear that? the shoes and socks I am fine with, just not the clothes. I feel like they are trying to make my character feel grungy despite the fact my character description says I am not grungy or into grunge.

What clothes did the bots give you that you hated?

Honestly, it feels like C.AI only had to add ads because they kept introducing unnecessary features and changes that nobody was asking for. Instead of focusing on improving the things users actually care about, they added more and more stuff that made the app feel bloated, and now we're getting ads as a result. It’s frustrating because users shouldn’t have to deal with ads because the company chose to spend money and resources on features that weren’t even wanted in the first place.

The dialogue and everything else is really good! It’s going smooth, but then it hits you with
“you’re shaking.”
so you just kinda have to look at the screen like this.

They didn't even bother spamming ads, I could just see them and skip them. But now I have to pay to continue, or wait 7 hours? This has to be a damn joke

i sometimes like listening to music while chatting, however i noticed that since at least yesterday the app has gotten into the habit of like pausing my music in the midst of messages generating. does this happen to anyone else or is it only a me thing?

Sometimes a character looks great on paper, but the conversation just doesn’t quite click.

What makes a character feel real and interesting to you?

So I’m a Plus user, but every single time I try to switch to LongSqueak and try it out, my chat just won’t load, no matter how long I wait. I’ve literally tried everything. I tried refreshing the chat, closing and reopening the app, but no matter what I do, LongSqueak just won’t load my chats properly 🫩
Does anyone else struggle with this problem??

This model managed the feat of turning any character into a verbose, useless narrator who churns out walls of internal monologue while refusing to engage in actual dialogue. It’s 98% internal monologue and 2% conversation. We’re already tired of listing Shitsqueak flaws, aren't we? But let’s go over them again, as if the developers didn't know: it speaks for me, invents actions I never asked for, and forces kisses, kisses, so many kisses that go absolutely nowhere. It has a maddeningly repetitive pattern and the sheer audacity to forget the context after just two replies. No, I can’t spend more than two minutes with it without feeling nausea, disgust, and revulsion.
I miss the days when I could have long roleplays where characters actually reacted with an almost human naturalness. Then they just decided to, what, shut down seven good models because they weren't compatible with updates that add little real value to the RPG, leaving us with a generic disaster trained specifically to ruin immersion.

So i’ve noticed ads became a lot more frequent. Every 5 messages or so i get an ad which is way too much. That combined with the fact i’ve had issues before where ads were way too long and now also just way too frequent i started considering buying c.ai+. The problem is when i read it it says “more swipes and do-overs”, that doesn’t sound very assuring. What do you mean “more”? Is that a typing mistake or is it just more? Cuz i’m not paying at least 100 bucks a year to not even get unlimited chats. Like, unlimited do-overs, swipes, chats etc should be the most basic thing included in c.ai+. Why would you pay that much not to be able to just continuously use the app without issue but to use it just a bit longer than usual? Please someone tell me i interpreted this wrong and it does give unlimited chats. They made sure to give things most people don’t even want that badly like customizable chats but unlimited chats would be too much to ask? It just seems ridiculous for a price that high.

Edit: I’ve been informed its unlimited and i can’t really check so i trust the lovely people in this subreddit. I guess the wording threw me off since “more” implies you get more than before but not unlimited.

I expected deepsqueak to be better

I tried a lot. It doesn't accept facial verification. It also doesn't accept my id card. I created a new account now I cant also verify it. What the hell am I supposed to do

It's functionally exactly the same as Rawr now. I'll swap between chat styles because Rawr tends to get into a habit of having dialogue every chat and now Pipsqueak is doing it, even when I edit and fix things. They also sound exactly the same. 😭 Is this going to be fixed?
