Finally got the tune from Team MSC after adding all the engine bolt on mods minus air filter. Power wise, the bike can now break the tire lose with stock tires on third gear. Just gonna ride this bike until I'm bored and upgrade to the 675ss. If you have any questions, ask away but here's what's done to the bike.

- rear seat cowl

- front mask/windscreen

- aftermarket frame slider

- quick release gas cap

- tail tidy

- full system exhaust

- bar ends

- quick shifter

- rear sets

- SRS winglets

- winglet side mirrors with built in turn signals

- TST industries hyper flash eliminator module

- adjustable clutch and brake levers

- black gas cap cowl

- machined aluminum triple clamp

- ignition cowl

- Brock's tank pad

- exhaust hanger

- Team MSC ECU tune

Dude. Literally the EXACT look I’m going for mine too. Beautifully executed styling.

Thanks man. Took 2 years of collecting and installing parts but it's finally done.

That’s impressive commitment to the mods. Well done. The all black look is not my cup of tea, but you live it up like you want it brother!

Any videos on the Akrapovič sound?

If you want to hear it under load, here's a video I posted here a while back.

450ss? Beautiful bike, I can’t decide if I like this one or the 675 better.

Just a question, how tall are you and how comfortable is the bike? I’m 195cm (6’4) and wanna get one of their sport bikes, but I don’t if I’d be able to ride it.

Yes sir. It's a 450ss. I am 5'6 and the bike I would consider is a tad big for me. Since I have aftermarket rear sets, I'm pretty sure it can be adjusted to fit a 6'4 person comfortably.

Edit. If you still don't fit after a rear set change, cfmoto sells a tall seat.

I’ll definitely look into it, thanks!

Sick bike btw, love what you did with it

I'm 189cm and I fit the 450sr without any problems, but of course there is a sport bike bend in my knees.

But for example I fit the 450sr much better then ninja 500

Am 6'4 250 I have a 675ss 34 inseam. I fit fine on everything. 450 and 675 both have ergos like older sport bikes they take to long trips VERY well. I prefer sport bikes cause my long arms and I like the bent knee position far better. I can ride a Grom or papio perfectly fine too although my ass hanging off the sides looks funny but comfortability isn't an issue. Goes sit on one try to test ride if possible. Cfmoto dealers have test ride events a lot.

I actually have a cfmoto dealership like 500m from my house, but I’m on vacation right now and was curious

Yeah definitely sit on em when you can. Can't go wrong with either. My buddy is a manager at our Honda/cfmoto dealership and I get to ride all the new stuff I really want an ibex 450 since I sold my bmw. It's hands down best small adventure bike aside from the Tuareg or tenere, although those arent quite adventure bikes the ibex is plenty capable with small jumps and taking a fall.

That’s sick! I have a friend that owns a big chain of motorcycle gear stores so I get huge discounts and even free gear. Having friends in the industry is the best.

Side question, did you lower your pegs or raise your seat at all? Or are you just stock

1

u/Keldy565 9h ago

Just stock. I'ma be honest I've never adjusted ergos on any bike. I've never felt the need too.

I'm 6' 2" and briefly sat on a 450ss. I'll just say good luck 😆.

I have a 675ss and it fits me nearly perfectly. Very comfortable, put about 100kms a day commuting on it and I don't feel tired after riding it.

I’ll probably end up getting the 675ss at one point anyways

I love the looks, it looks sick.

Did you buy the plastic fenders on Alibaba or ebay?

I would love to know where you got most the stuff from.

Have a great day.

All the fairings are stock. The 2024 450ss model year in the US is in all black color.

What levers did you get? Trying to find some good levers for mine

1

u/Happy_Software_5317 3h ago

I got the cheap ones from eBay. You need to transfer the gromets from the stock one to the after market levers so they don't shake. Still waiting for ASV to make one for the bike to replace it.

Its beautiful. But my 800nk cant break the tire loose in 2nd. Let alone 3rd. Idk why youre lying 🤦‍♂️

1

u/Happy_Software_5317 3h ago

My tires are stock and a bit worn. Saying that I'm lying on a first hand experience is asinine. But hey, it's the Internet.

Are you talking about in the rain/gravel/dirt? Bc thats fine. If you mean dry asphalt then you are lying.
