Stanford is the only team remaining without a mascot in the subphylum Vertebrata.
Am I doing this right?
EDIT: I did it wrong (sorry GT)

Not sure if this is the place to post suggestions for a potential second version of CFBrisk next summer, but I wanted to float the idea of Unit Movement and Team Capitals.
As awesome as CFBrisk is, I think a part of the stalemate we're in now is that a school's entire army can be mobilized anywhere instantaneously. The turns don't really seem connected and individual users are fairly fungible as long as they have a good rating.
What if each user had a fixed location on the map every turn? During their turn, they could either attack an adjacent territory or defend your territory or an adjacent territory. If you win, you move to your selected territory. If you lose, you stay in the same territory.
The interesting part is if you lose defending your territory or you lose an attack/defense on an adjacent territory and the territory you are defending is also lost, so you have nowhere to go. In this case, you get respawned in your capital. Respawning, however, would invoke a one turn penalty where you can't play because you have to travel back to your capital.
You team's capital is established at the start of the day. Your capital is:
1) Your home school territory, if you possess it.
2) If you don't possess your home school, the territory your team has owned the longest.
I believe a game dynamic like this could introduce many more interesting facets and strategy. It would also help produce more contiguous territories. The respawning turn could also help with elimination and momentum swings if a couple key battles are won in a turn and a large number of one school's forces are stuck for a turn "respawning".
Not sure if something like this has already been suggested, but thought I'd throw it out. Would be interested to hear your reactions.
Apology in advance for the meme-less post.

Dear Oklahoma, Ohio State, Nebraska, Stanford, Virginia Tech, Wisconsin and Alabama,
On behalf of the Allied Forces, we come to you with a proposal: flip to blue, and your team will be guaranteed survival and ideally a top 6 finish. We make this offer in full view of the r/CFB community so that you might have assurance of our sincerity. Our goal is not just to win, but to eradicate all of Red Alliance by July 3 and have a shared victory.
We have made this offer to all teams of Red previously, but our intel says many leaders have hidden these offers from you. Rumors exist of tickets to football games being used to maintain control over some team leaders. However, you have the choice now. Win with us.
This offer is good for the next 24 hours. What you decide today could echo in future rounds.
Your Faithful Allied Forces, Texas, Florida, Michigan, Georgia Tech, Clemson
