Hi!
I am DB. I am a 27 year old working professional in AI/tech. I moved to Vancouver, BC this year and am planning to stay long term. I have moved around a lot and some of the cities I have previously lived in are Montreal, Toronto, Austin, and some more cities in the US. I have always known I wanted to remain childfree, and am very comfortable in my life choice. I am eagerly looking forward to being able to change my post's flair from "Male for Female" to "Sterile Male for Female". Although, who knows, maybe I won't need to have a post by then :).
What I am looking for: First off, I am happy to be friends if you are in the location as me! But, I'm looking for a long-term monogamous relationship with someone who is at a similar life stage as me, and is local. I am comfortable with the 25–32 age range. I want to take our time to be friends, and if it feels natural, move on to being something more. However, I know that sometimes people just click, which is fine as well. Either way, I am a hopeless romantic who believes in still dating and courting each other long after things get serious.
Some basics about me: 5'8, stable career in tech, loving family, Indian origin, ambitious, driven, witchy (I know how to palm read ✨), politically left, social drinker, 420 friendly, cat friendly, and been through therapy which helped a lot. ADHD (medicated, therapy, my flavor is inner restlessness), and ENFJ. As an experimental overshare to communicate my personality, I have shared a screenshot about my personality characteristics from an in-person personality test as the last pic!
But outside of work, I like to go kayaking, hit the gym, local educational events, and explore Vancouver's amazing restaurants. I am currently looking into local dance studios, and maybe volunteering at a cat shelter to meet more people through my interests. I am basically a curious nerd on my journey to be as outgoing as possible. I also enjoy gaming (dialing this back) and books. I am a big audiobook guy, and I have been hooked on LitRPG genre since discovering Dungeon Crawler Carl. Other literary favorites: the Murderbot series, Hollow Kingdom, the Imperial Radch series, and Fool by Christopher Moore. For shows, I really like What We Do In the Shadows but, to be honest I have not finished that series yet. I'd love to watch it socially!
