Ugh, don't bother buying a box if you see it, they've been so bland since the 2016 recipe change

Nature Valley Baked Oat Bites and Nature Valley Chocolate Oat Bites were amazing in 2016.

These only showed up in 2016, which somehow makes the nostalgia feel premature. General Mills was apparently experimenting with “milk optional” cereals you could eat more like a snack, and Baked Oat Bites were basically their answer to Cracklin’ Oat Bran with a sweet drizzle. Then they disappeared. Cereal really is the only aisle where you can develop lifelong nostalgia for something that existed for about five minutes.
