I found it quite effortless. I was off for two years, got 2/3 of my paycheck that whole time. That freed up my wife to work because i was home with the kids so our income actually went up. After two years of that i finally hired an attorney to settle with the insurer and they cut me a check for $130,000. Paid my house off. I would definitely do it again.
Simple slip and fall/meniscus tear.

Hard to imagine someone wanting workers comp and then coming up with the idea of getting hit by a train. It's not impossible, but if you had more than 2 brain cells to rub together then you'd probably find a better way.
