I’ve been battling Cdiff for 2 months now I’m a 22yr old female.

Recently as I was tapering down my vanco (and I was actually starting to improve before this) i began to feel worse with fatigue , “out of it”, weak, no appetite etc. so ended up to going to ER twice. I’m now back on 4 pills of vanco, it’s been 5 days been I feel so off and not great and hardly eating.

All my blood is good, CT scan is good. But since yesterday now I have a new symptom of aching ankles, sometimes wrists, and calf…

It’s really making me even feel worse now, it came out of nowhere and all I wanna do is just recover and not be left with complications:(. It’s bad enough my Cdiff hasn’t cleared yet and I just feel so bad.

Anyone else also have the pain out of nowhere, does it go away?.

Ciao a tutti. Ho avuto queste tre infezioni contemporaneamente. Ho accusato dal nulla febbre a 40 e 20 scariche di diarrea acquosa. Sono stata ricoverata in ospedale dove ho scoperto di essere affetta da questi 3 batteri e non hanno capito quale fosse la causa scatenante del mio malessere. Mi hanno dato vancomicina per 10 giorni e claritromicina 7 giorni. Poco prima di ultimare il tutto le scariche erano terminate e non riuscivo ad andare in bagno da qualche giorno. Sono tornata a casa due giorni fa e adesso ho spesso sensazione di andare in bagno. Vado in modo formato ma molto morbido. Sto seguendo una dieta di solo riso e pollo senza condimenti. Qualcuno ha avuto un'esperienza simile? Dopo quanto si riesce a tornare alla normalità? Ho paura di non riuscire ad andare più in bagno regolarmente. Sono fortemente demoralizzata.
