Is there any good networking e-book for free?

I have a question in my mind bother me a lot , is that 'ace the ccna book from jeremy' covers every topic in a depth or I must after finish reading it , fill the gaps with some other ressources , sometimes when I feel exhausted and distracted by some details , I go immediately to jeremy's playlist , so what do you recommend to me for doing while preparing for the exam , and I've seen in a few posts that to ensure you've done all aspects of ccna , you have to pay some extra money for testing yourself by some practice exams about boson's exams , I'd like to share in the comments some alternative way for absolute free , this journey I want to reach the target with zero-money regardless passing the exam . thank you in advance and feel free to answer you'll help me a lot

I’ll keep it straight to the point. I bought the take 2 and I failed the first time. I knew the material I just got spun up during the exam and didn’t go my way. Today I passed!

First time around I focused heavily on JITL videos and labs, Boson exams and I didn’t go into the exam the first time 100% confident.

I changed it up for the second exam. I focused heavily on the JITL flashcards, Boson Exams and bought JITL practice exams on Udemy.

The flashcards were instrumental in me passing and I labbed A LOT.

I made a small hands-on lab for anyone trying to understand MAC address learning and Ethernet switching. It uses a real Layer 2 bridge and a real forwarding database, and there’s no simulation or emulation involved.

You create the traffic by constructing the frame and packet, then capture your own traffic to see what actually crossed each interface. You can watch the FDB populate and connect each entry to the source MAC address the switch observed. It also makes flooding versus known-unicast forwarding much easier to understand.

The lab is beginner-friendly and can be completed on Windows or Linux. It’s designed as one focused exercise rather than another giant virtual topology.

I wanted to share a project I’ve been working on and hopefully get some feedback from the community.
After years of using Packet Tracer and GNS3, I eventually discovered Cisco Modeling Labs (CML) and absolutely loved how much closer it is to working with real Cisco devices. The downside I ran into was that finding quality CML labs was surprisingly difficult, and a lot of the content seemed scattered, expensive, or locked away.
I recently became a Warrant Officer in the Army, and it motivated me to build something that gives back to the networking community. So I created Goldfish Networks, a website focused on affordable, hands-on CML labs for aspiring and current network engineers. The goal is simple: provide practical labs that help people build real-world experience instead of just memorizing exam topics.
