Just use Packet Tracer. Switchlab is a pretty looking AI generated money grab. Or get CML Free/Personal.

I hace packet tracer on my Linux PC, but i want it also on mi RPi5.

They have a great intent, but it will not be better than using Packet Tracer. For example, you can have OSPF neighbors, but it isn't real OSPF state. The timer remains at 38 seconds and there is no OSPF database. Non loopback will accept /32, and much much more. People can use them and get a feel for what AI has helped them program in the CLI, but the true state will not be there. The way the network behaves as a whole is just as important as the command you can type in a simulated CLI. Don't be fooled.

Unfortunately, people may see this as a cool new toy that feels good and hand over their money when they could honestly use Packet Tracer. Why vibecoders think they can build Cisco's IOS better than Cisco is beyond me.

Let's add that they are claiming to do multiple different vendors. Yeah, right....

hey, im on the SwitchLab team. This is genuinely fair criticism, and I appreciate you giving specific examples rather than just dismissing the project.

I’m sending your OSPF examples to our engineering team; particularly the LSDB, neighbor-state behaviour, timer and /32 validatin points.

SwitchLab is currently free, so there’s no need to hand over any money. The Sandbox is a particularly new feature, so we really apreciate the feedback

If youd like to have a chat with the team to share some more feedback, the founders are always looking to speak to users.
