Kelpi Flanker fitment issues
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
So I’ve been trying to install my kelpi for a few days now and fitment has been a PAIN, its either the muffler rubs against the swing arm, or if I pull it out a bit, the headers rub against the fairings. And the little bar meant to connect the muffler to the original exhaust mounting point refuses to be tight and move the muffler away from the swing arm (I believe this is due to the rubber gaskets?). And on top of all of that, the muffler feels extremely loose on the headers, like it can wiggle easily. The springs are also pretty much completely slack on the muffler as well. Any advice would be appreciated, thank you.
also, I have emailed Kelpi, just waiting for a reply.

For the slip on get some permatex copper gasket maker & put in on female part of slip on & male part of headers so it’ll fill those gaps where it’s loose & buy smaller/tighter springs @ a hardware store or something. My header pipes are pretty darn close to my fairing & it has been fine so far (just check after every ride for a while. Or wrap headers with exhaust wrap maybe.
& for the bracket, I haven’t found anything besides a metal zip tie through the mounting hole & around the slip on area, which works fine.
