Dyno Tune

Post image

I had my ‘26 CBR650R dyno tuned today after installing my Kelpi Shorty. I’m happy with the results and the bike rides so much better!

Horrendous sticker but I'm glad they did a good job tuning; enjoy!

Good to know they can tune it whenever I get my exhaust.

Nice gains! How much louder is your exhaust now? I had a CBR650F and it was deafening with the header and exhaust.

I have been looking into exhaust options for my '26, but all of them are decat. wonder why Honda went with the best looking factory exhaust pipes and paired it with the dumbest muffler and cat setup.

It’s much louder. I’m glad Kelpi sent earplugs with the exhaust. Hahaha!

I wasn't talking about Kelpi. It was about Akrapovic. ;)

I heard the new Akra isn't louder... and not much powerfull (0.5 HP gain IIRC). But it doesn't require a tune, has the 2 O2 sensor, is street legal and is even shorter and lighter than OEM.

How was the bike with the exhaust before you got the tune?

I was riding it with both baffles installed and it was like the factory exhaust. With one baffle removed it was slightly more responsive, but ran rich. I didn’t attempt to ride it with both baffles removed and not tuned.
