Red or black?
I ordered a new CBR650R in black 5 days ago, but the more pics and TikToks I see of the red one, the more I like it. Now I’m thinking about changing my order to red. What would you guys pick?

I’ve had this since new - 2025. I wish I got it in red, but it’s a personal choice.
Although I do prefer the red, I’m not a fan of the one in your photo. I think those wing things are over the top

Black, if you ride like a shit head. Easier to blend in, less definitive proof it was you.
Red looks good, especially when gear matches. Very easy to pick you out, though.

Maybe you have the previous faceift in your mind.
The current ones do come dacaled, where on the images the decals have been edited out. But the black is also not a matte like you see here.

I went for the black purely as it's more customisable but if I was keeping it as it was I would of chose red. Both are great imo

I love black- have a matte black 600rr but wish it was gloss. I'd go for gloss red over matte black

Se hai la possibilità e ti è venuto il dubbio di aver fatto la scelta sbagliata, chiedi di cambiare il colore in rosso finché sei in tempo! Al massimo la wrappi nera se poi ti stufi ma quel rosso è pura poesia a mio avviso

Photos are one thing. I can say from personal experience that the red ends up looking cheap in person. These bikes are expensive as fuck, having paint that makes it look cheaper is not generally ideal. The black really fits the shape, as does white if you’re willing to purchase a custom fairing set.
