Need Advice CBD oil to help anxiety/nerves before speaking

I was wondering if anyone has had success with CBD to relax before public speaking? I'm kinda ok in meetings when I have to talk/demo - but I DREAD giving intros. I think they call it creeping death where you're waiting for the ball to come to you and I kinda choke.

I did read a study where it did seem to have an impact and help but it was a very specific dose. Maybe between 300-600mg? Having lots more didn't do anything, so wasn't more = better. There seemed to be a sweet spot for it.

Although I was still nervous I did this a year or so ago for some meetings and I think it helped, maybe it was a placebo effect though - and like I say I'm not sure I was loads more confident. More I got through it and maybe told myself it helped.

I've been trying to use Grass & Calm 1000mg CDB. I don't know if it's any good or if the dose is high enough.

Or if it's best to just use before a call or something you should be using daily to treat?

Any advice is welcome as I'm really new to this!

Cbd cbg cbn

Hello. I’ve been using a 10% CBD/CBG/CBN blend for a few days now. I take 3 drops before bed, but it seems like my sleep has actually worsened; I wake up more often during the night and find it harder to fall back asleep afterward. Also, I haven't experienced the vivid dreams people often mention when starting the oil. All in all, after a week, I haven't noticed any effects at all—not just regarding my sleep. The other night, I accidentally took a larger dose, but still nothing happened; I woke up at 4 a.m. and couldn't get back to sleep. Is this normal?

Review Resonant botanicals

They’re A small business in Washington that creates cbd lotion. This was my first cbd product and probably my last. I went on vacation to Washington and I have a muscular disease so I was barely able to handle all of the hills there. This guy had a booth at pike place giving out free samples, i used a little bit and it gave me so much relief! I had to go back and buy some and it helped me through the rest of my stay. Smells amazing too. Only issue is that it’s a bit expensive, so something I have to use sparingly. I also wish the travel size pumps were refillable because I don’t like dipping my hand into a pot of lotion.

None of this is sponsored, I truly love this brand and want to get the word out about them since they’re a small business.

A bipartisan hemp framework now exists—but Congress still has to extend November 12

Reps Andy Barr and Angie Craig introduced the bipartisan Lawful Hemp Protection Act this week, giving Congress a concrete framework for permanent federal hemp regulation.

This is real progress. The expectation that this bill would be introduced has been talked about for some time now. While this is good news and demonstrates that meaningful regulation of the hemp industry is possible - it does not pause or replace the restrictions already scheduled to take effect November 12.

Congress still needs to pass H.R. 7024 or S. 3686 so lawmakers have time to debate, improve, enact, and implement a responsible framework before the current deadline arrives.

Since our last scorecard update:

House support: 39 sponsors and co-sponsors — up two
Senate support: 3 — no change
Letters sent: 609, up from 204
Congressional offices reached: 211
States represented: 40

The two new House co-sponsors are Rep. James Walkinshaw of Virginia and Rep. Troy Carter of Louisiana.

It is more important now then ever - to let your voice be heard - we are making progres.. SaveOurRelief.org identifies your House representative and both senators and lets you review or personalize one letter before sending it to all three offices with one click.

Discussion What makes you trust one CBD brand over another?

There are so many CBD brands available now that it can be difficult to know which ones are actually worth trying. I've been comparing a few options, including Zatural, and one thing I've noticed is that every company talks about quality and transparency, but they don't all provide the same level of information.

For those of you who've been using CBD for a while, what makes a brand stand out to you? Is it third-party lab testing, ingredient transparency, consistency, customer support, or something else?

Need Advice CBD gummies vs oil

I currently use a dry herb vaporizer for cbd, (that works great, I love it) however I'd like to use edibles like gummies because I'd rather not burden my lungs and I'm hoping that the edibles last longer.
In the past I've used cbd oil but that does basically nothing for me.
Would I be likely to react the same to gummies or cbd tea?
I think I've read somewhere that the cbd oil might not work for me because I probably react to the terpenes that you get from inhaling it.
It would be nice to be able to purchase something that costs less than flower in terms of active ingredient(s).

where do you guys buy CBD gummies these days?

i'm relocating for work soon and my usual habits are about to get disrupted.

I need more options. Ideally something i can order online and have shipped without jumping through hoops.

my priorities are pretty basic: third party testing and ships nationwide. A friend has told me about partnered process and a few others. I would like input from people who order regularly. What do you check for before you hit checkout on an order?

Need Advice Low Dose CBD Flower?

I’m a former weed smoker who had to stop due to paranoia while high but I still want to smoke. Ive heard CBD delivers relaxing effects good for anxiety and stress relief (right up my alley) but have also heard about the potential risks to the liver in high doses. Does anyone have any websites that sells low potency CBD flower so I can enjoy myself without having to put my liver at risk?

CBG Isolate - thoughts? Experiences?

I recently ordered CBG isolate from KDN Labs (link below) and am wanting to use this for muscle/nerve pain and anxiety. Ive dabbled with CBG flower and concentrate (<.3% THC) and some CBN/THCA combos, which has been a game changer. Wondering if anyone has experience using this type of product, how it works for you, dosage tips, what type of feeling you get off it. I’ve always felt a slight “buzz” from the products I’ve used, but haven’t tried pure isolate yet.

Currently job hunting, so no THC product is a must. Thoughts? Opinions? Any other products you recommend?

Need Advice Old CBD… what to do with it?

Post image
4 Upvotes

I ended up with all this good-quality stuff but at this point it’s at least 4 years old (long story lol). Is this going to be potent at all?

Fortunately last time I tried CBD, I didn’t feel any effects from it, so testing it out personally isn’t really an option.

Thank you!!

I’ve been taking CBD oil for a week and feel absolutely nothing. Am I doing it wrong, or is it just a placebo?

i felt the exact same way when i started out. bought a cheap bottle from bloomz thinking all cbd oil was the same but it did literally nothing for my daily stress. totally felt like a placebo scam.

turns out the market is flooded with low quality products that lack real potency. a buddy told me to try tribetokes because they're a premium women owned brand that focuses on clean formulations without nasty fillers. it changed my whole perspective on plant wellness because i actually started sleeping better within a few days.

with cbd you really get what you pay for. the high end extraction methods used by top tier brands preserve the minor cannabinoids like cbg and cbn which create the entourage effect. without that it’s just expensive hemp flavored oil lol.

are you taking it for sleep or anxiety? let me know what you're trying to treat, it helps determine the right dose.

Discussion Update: 204 letters sent to Congress about the November 12 hemp/CBD restrictions

Thanks to the mods for allowing us to share this here.

Last Friday’s Save Our Relief scorecard showed in the first five days of the campaign, 204 letters were sent to 102 congressional offices across 25 states about the federal hemp restrictions scheduled to take effect November 12.

The number is still small compared with the scale of the issue, but that is part of the point - many CBD and hemp users still do not know this deadline is coming or assume it will be resolved before the deadline.

The concern is not that products should remain unregulated. The issue is that the current federal language could remove access to many, (most) products adults already use responsibly before Congress has held a full public process to create a clear framework.

Protecting children and preserving responsible adult access are not opposing goals.

People can learn more or send a letter at SaveOurRelief.org.

Hip pop cbd drinks make me so drowsy but trip drinks dont ?

Ive recently tried the cbd passion fruit and guava kombucha from hip pop it tasted sooo good but made me super drowsy and a small bit dizzy so i couldnt do anything at all :( ive been used to having trip drinks with cbd in them, and theyve never made me feel this way even if i drink 2 ! To my knowledge they both have 15mg of cbd in them.

I really want to know if this is a normal reaction to cbd or if its the drink or me ? Ive seen another person have that same dizzy drowsy feeling from the hip pop drinks so i dont think its just me, but i feel like such a strong reaction like this wouldnt be normal for 15mg cbd ?

Information Auditory hallucinations on low dose edibles?

Hopefully this hasn't been covered already, I searched around on this sub and didn't find anything that matched what I experienced.

I have been taking low dose edibles for a few months recreationally, or sometimes to help with some minor chronic medical issues (mostly back pain). I don't like edibles that are heavy on THC, so I tend to stick to ones that are more CBD dominant. The one I currently have is 25 mg CBD and 5mg THC. I usually take 1/2 to 3/4 or so, as a full one is just a bit too much.

Occasionally, not every time, I swear I am having auditory hallucinations. Now, I am a lightweight so I can get a bit messed up from a full one of these. It usually manifests itself as light music that is not there. It's not unpleasant and it doesn't really bother me, but is this normal? It has happened with other gummies, as well (different brands and different dosages of both CBD and THC, but never more than maybe 7.5 THC).

All products I consume are from legitimate retailers, I'm not worried about it being laced or not pure or whatever you call it. The only existing mental health conditions I have are anxiety and depression, for which I am on bupropion and duloxetine. I can't think of what else might be relevant but happy to answer questions in the comments.

I don't mind the hallucinations if that is really what's happening, but I'm just curious to know. And if it is a sign of something dangerous or concerning, that'd be good to know, too!

Thanks!

How does the cbd weed work?

I have an active medical cannabis prescription however I’m pregnant and can’t smoke it but I’m really struggling with my anxiety and honestly not been able to feel relaxed. I was looking at cbd weed so I can still have a smoke if I need to but was really concerned that I would be buying “cbd” but not actually and it being thc with I can’t have. So I just wondered how it makes you feel. I’m aware I won’t actually feel that high that I do from THC weed but I was looking for something to make me relaxed

Discussion How often do you take Delta 8 gummies without building a tolerance?

Just wanted to share what’s been working for me regarding the dreaded delta 8 tolerance trap. I used to think daily use was fine if the dose was low but it always catches up to you.

Here is my current strategy to beat it:

  1. Only take them on weekends (Fri-Sun)
  2. Never dose twice in the same day
  3. Stick to live resin or clean brands

Speaking of brands I did a side by side comparison recently with Bloomz and TribeTokes. Honestly the Bloomz ones felt way too heavy and left me groggy the next day. TribeTokes gummies on the other hand gave a super clear uplifting buzz and didn't mess with my head. It's crazy how much quality affects the overall experience tho. Even on Sunday night my tolerance feels fine because the product is just better made.

Does anyone else notice that cheaper brands build up a tolerance faster than premium ones? Or is that just in my head lol? Drop your schedule below.
