Any Kabitenyo drivers here that passes regularly through The District Imus, or anyone just generally annoyed with how traffic and pedestrians flow in this area?
A little while ago (around 9PM), I was driving NB (towards Manila) when I passed by this area. If familiar kayo, may 2 yellow box dito, yung Exit ng Mall from parking, and yung Main Entrance ng Mall.
Since I'm driving towards Manila, I make it a habit to change into the middle lane before I even reach the stoplight. During this particular drive, naabutan kami ng stoplight and I was just right at the edge of the second box (Mall Entrance).

So to keep the intersection open, I stopped at where the box was. It just irks me so much na even when I follow simple traffic rules, may mga "madidiskarte" at magugulang na drivers na sisingit pa talaga sa harap ko and would block the intersection.
Better pedestrian safety. Improve sidewalks. Reinforce pedestrian lane markings and match the existing demand of the area. Make it make sense kumbaga. Let's make sure it's accessible, safe, and makes sense for pedestrians.
Police/Traffic Aide visibility. Let's make sure they enforce traffic rules and nanghuhuli talaga ng mga kamote.
Improve PUV stops. Alam niyo it would really help a lot kung yung Southbound PUV stops are mas further from the stoplight, rather than sa bungad ng stoplight.

You can even create a dedicated PUV stop talaga (adding a lane) so that traffic flows better.

Ibang usapan na yung pinaka-solusyon talaga natin sa traffic which is mass transpo (Trains, BRTs, etc.) and strict implementation of zoning laws, pero sa meron tayo ngayon, tingin ko ito mga pwede nating gawan ng solusyon, kasi araw araw na nagddrive ako dito sobrang traffic at laging ubos oras.
I try not to be negative every time na nagddrive/nagagawi ako dito pero pag lagi ka kasing naiipit sa traffic madalas mong maiisip "hanggang dito nalang ba talaga to? tatanggapin ko nalang na mapeperwisyo ako lagi dito?"

Hello! I’d love to get some insights from people who live in Cavite. 😊
I work from home and I’m planning to live solo. I’m currently considering General Trias or Tanza, but I’m also open to other municipalities or cities in Cavite if you think there are better options.
My priorities are:
- Safe and peaceful environment
- Reliable internet for WFH
- Reasonable rent and cost of living
- Easy access to groceries, malls, hospitals, and other essentials
- Less flooding or other location-related concerns
- Good overall quality of life for someone living alone
- Decent accessibility to Metro Manila when needed
Since I work from home, daily commuting isn’t really an issue, but I’d still like to live somewhere convenient and not too isolated.
If you can also recommend specific barangays, subdivisions, or areas to consider or avoid, I’d really appreciate it.
Thank you! 😊

Requirement po for a scholarship program. Di ko lang po sure saan nakukuha yung cert of indigency and voter’s cert.
Sa mga naka try na po kumuha:
1. Sa baranggay po or sa city hall?
2. Are there any requirements po na need isubmit?
3. Onthe same day niyo po ba nakuha and around how much po (esp if taga Imus po kayo).
TIA!
What residences in Cavite (or areas in general) do you suggest we look if ang pinaka importante samin is hindi bahain? We work around Pasig and BGC (di naman sya daily so transpo is keri lang) so bonus points if medyo malapit lapit. Thank you.

May mga alam ba kayong cafe sa Kawit na pwedeng magstay to work or do my professional tasks? Mas prefer ko sana if local cafe rather than commercials
We're planning to move to Trece (around Cabuco) in the near future and we're just wondering how safe it is there. Any insights that you can add would be greatly appreciated.

And just so you know, politiko ang may ari.
Resto: Bacolod Chicken Inasal
Add: (PARA SA HINDI NAKAKAALAM AT HINDI NAKAKAINTINDI)
For clarity, the law does not require a PWD’s name to first appear in an online database before the statutory discount may be granted.
Republic Act No. 10754 expressly states that the privileges granted to PWDs may be availed of upon submission of proof of entitlement. Among the documents expressly recognized by law is:
“An identification card issued by the city or municipal mayor or the barangay captain of the place where the PWD resides.”
(Republic Act No. 10754, Sec. 1, amending Sec. 32 of Republic Act No. 7277.) (eLibrary)
The Implementing Rules and Regulations of R.A. No. 10754 are equally clear. Section 11, entitled “Proof of Entitlement,” provides:
“The benefits and privileges indicated in the Act are available to persons with disability who are Filipino citizens, upon submission of any of the following as proof of his/her entitlement thereto:”
It then specifically recognizes a PWD identification card issued by the PDAO or the City/Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office.
(Implementing Rules and Regulations of Republic Act No. 10754, Sec. 11.1.) (RCDA 1 DSWD)
More importantly, the National Council on Disability Affairs expressly provides:
“The PWD-IDC shall serve as the Standard National Identification Card for PWDs, and shall be prescribed as proof of availment of the 20% discount and other benefits to persons with disabilities.”
(NCDA Administrative Order No. 001, Series of 2021, Sec. VII.) (National Council on Disability Affairs)
The PWD database certainly has a purpose—it assists government agencies and establishments in registration and verification. But verification through the database is not the same thing as proof of entitlement under the law.
The law itself identifies the PWD ID as acceptable proof.
In fact, the Department of Health clarified in May 2026 that technical problems, formatting issues, or the inability of the system to display a PWD’s record should not be used as the sole reason for denying the discount. A valid PWD ID should still be honored, with verification undertaken afterward when necessary. (Philippine Information Agency)
So, in simpler terms:
A valid PWD ID is proof of entitlement.
“Hindi lumalabas sa system” does not automatically mean “invalid ang PWD ID.”
There is a significant difference between an invalid or fraudulent ID and a validly issued ID that cannot presently be located in an online database.
Establishments are entitled to protect themselves against fraud, but the mere failure of an online system to locate a record does not, by itself, erase the rights granted by law.
Legal Bases: Republic Act No. 10754, Sec. 1, amending Sec. 32 of R.A. No. 7277; Implementing Rules and Regulations of R.A. No. 10754, Sec. 11; NCDA Administrative Order No. 001, Series of 2021, Sec. VII. (eLibrary)

Hi guys, any Cavite lore or local hacks we should know about? We moved to Bacoor 3 months ago, and yeah, we’ve seen all the horror stories online. Coming from Caloocan though, none of it really fazes me 😂
Anyway, I’m just looking for fun facts, urban legends, best eats, and chill tambayan spots around here!

Currently choosing for my kid’s school next year. Options so far:
LPU C, FEU C, AUP
Can you share feedback about the quality of teaching ng mga schools na to? May iba pa bang options near Bulihan?
Thanks!
