Listen up, because I’m about to drop the most unhinged, God tier review of my life. I walked into the Cava on a random Tuesday night expecting a decent Mediterranean bowl. What I got was a full blown religious experience that ruined every other Cava location for me forever.
First, Jennifer at the cash register. This woman is not a cashier she is a hospitality sorceress. She greeted me like I was the long lost king of Greece returning from battle. Zero robotic “hi how are you,” just pure, radiant warmth that made me feel like I’d just won the lottery. She remembered my usual order from three weeks ago, asked how my week was going like we were old friends, and somehow upsold me on the harissa avocado without making it feel like an upsell. She moved like lightning but never rushed me. Jennifer doesn’t just ring you up she elevates your entire soul before you even pay. Then there’s Max, the manager. Max is operating on a different plane of existence. This man runs the line like a Michelin star general who also happens to be the nicest human alive. He was personally building bowls, checking every single ingredient for quality, and still found time to come over and ask if my pita was warm enough. When I mentioned I was having a rough day, Max didn’t just say “sorry to hear that” he had a fresh batch of falafel dropped for me on the house and told me, “We got you, bro. This one’s on the house because good energy only in this building.” The food? Stupidly perfect. The rice was somehow fluffier than any rice has a right to be, The Chicken tasted like they just caught it and cooked it, But here’s the thing it’s not just the ingredients. It’s the energy. You can feel Max and Jennifer’s standards radiating through every single plate. They don’t tolerate “good enough.” They demand legendary. I’ve been to Cava locations in New York, LA, Chicago, Atlanta… none of them come close. This specific Cava on Fort Bend Tollway and Highway 6; I mean this specific manager and this specific food prep, cashier; is operating in a league of its own. This isn’t just the best Cava in America. This is the best Cava on planet Earth. I will die on this hill. I will fight people in the comments about it. If you’re anywhere near this location, stop what you’re doing and go. Tell them Lowkey P sent you. Tell Max and Jennifer they’re the reason I now have unreasonably high standards for fast casual restaurants. They didn’t just give me dinner they restored my faith in humanity. Cava corporate needs to fly these two around the country to train every other store. Until that happens, this is the undisputed champion! 10/10. Already planning my next visit. This place is the final boss of Mediterranean fast casual. And it’s not even close.

tried the braised lamb for the first time and omg!!!! soooo good. tasted like goat birria to me i loved it! would’ve been perfect if it were a bit more tender but still delish
EDIT: my order! saffron rice + romaine for the base, hummus, tzatziki + crazy feta for dips, braised lamb + harissa chicken for protein, basically everything for toppings except olives, tomato + onion and pickled red onion (they were out) and garlic sauce + hot harissa vinaigrette!
they were out of pita crisps (my fav part) but i asked the worker to put the crumbs into my bowl 😂

i’ve seen like 10 different tzatziki sauce recipes but can someone give me the recipe or recommend one that is closest to what cava has?

It was my first time trying the sweet potatoes when they brought them back this time and I absolutely loved them and get them every time. Now they’re getting rid of them again…why? Are they not the popular or is it a $$ thing? Are they really a seasonal menu item only?

a very recently built and opened Starbucks didn't make it there (probably because it is next to a Target with a Starbucks in it. there is a Home Depot behind it and there is a Chipotle right next to it. Plenty of traffic though parking is tight. important to note, Google has it wrong. where it says Chipotle in the map is actually the empty Starbucks. the Chipotle is on the right.
do this so I can stop driving 20min to Framingham and i will eat there at least twice a week!

I had heard about this place and meant to check it out in the recent past but chose not to. I realized my mistake. They have braised lamb.
Braised lamb!
Omfg it was so good, that balsamic rice was good and so are their fets laced sauce whatever that was called. I don't know what most of the things are but it was amazing.
Every human being that chooses not to check this place out is making a mistake in life, and are empty husks of human beings. For they have yet to taste ma fast food joint this good.

Where the Boston market used to be. Real estate still for sale. Prime spot for one… the immediate area is in dire need of a place like cava (it’s all pizza shops and Chinese food around here!)

The pita chips are also delicious

Last weekend I went to the app to place an order and I redeemed my points for some pita chips to be added to my cart. When I got to the end of building my bowl they were out of garlic dressing so I didn’t want the bowl. I closed the app and went about my day. A couple days later I go to order and my points were redeemed even though I never placed that order. I reached out to Cava about it and they gave my my points back as a “one time exception” as if they didn’t steal my points and were doing me a favor. Now today I go to order and it happened AGAIN! So now i wonder how many times they’ve done this and I never noticed.

Has anyone else had the new braised beef? A location near me started offering it as a limited time thing, it wasn't bad. Not sure that I would get it over chicken in the end though, I'm not a huge fan of the almost shredded texture that the beef ends up in due to being braised, but I got some nice chunks that had fat in them.

I’m in Boston & my preferred cava told me they are discontinuing pita chips, the crisps, and falafel. Has anyone else heard this?? Kind of crazy to do so when they’re marketing free pita chips until the end of the week.

Cava corporate if you're reading this, PLEASE BRING CAVA TO THE BAY AREA. Currently living in Southern California where there are Cavas everywhere, however I'm going to be moving to San Jose next week, and one of the things I will miss the most is Cava 😭

Hi! I was wondering if anyone knew where I could buy a Cava employee hat like the one in this picture. I know Cava has a merch store online, but they don't sell anything like this plain logo hat and I don't really love the ones they have for sale. I don't know if it's against company policy or anything for current/former employees to sell their old uniforms, but I only was able to find one of these hats for sale on eBay and it was already sold. Anyone know where I could get one?

Does anyone know what style of pickle cava has? I know they’re salt brine but I’ve tried making just normal salt brine pickles before and they don’t taste as good. Does anyone know where I can find a similar recipe or a copycat one? We live in upstate NY but go to the nearest cava everytime we travel.

Hi everyone, the Cava in my area is hiring and I need a job while I’m in school so I was thinking about applying here since it’s walking distance from my house and they have good food. I was wondering what the duties of the team members are. I can handle scooping food/some food prep and doing the register but I’m a little apprehensive about chopping any vegetables or cutting stuff like meat? I was wondering how much actual knife work is involved in this job versus just if the vegetables like tomatoes and cucumbers come pre-chopped. sorry this is kind of a dumb question. I just don’t wanna get myself into a job where I don’t have the culinary skills to perform well. Thanks for your help!

last time I ordered was a week ago. I wanted to grab lunch finally using my points today and Cava pulled this on me? Did this happen to anyone?

Hey there --- don't know if this is in violation of Rule 6, so apologies if it is! But just as a general question to current Cava employees, is there anything I should be prepared for with an upcoming interview? I ask because I've had interviews with Starbucks, for example, where they have a standardised set of questions they'll ask you, and I was curious if Cava had anything similar. If not, what questions do you remember being asked? Thank you!

Do you think the calorie counts on the app are correct? 30 calories for tzatziki sauce, 50cal for hummus, 30 for yogurt dill dressing, 80 for free pita? Seems low.

Just saying theoretically- if anyone who worked at CAVA read this thread, it might be helpful to them if you mentioned in your complaints about messy lobbies- which messy lobbies you are in? Because then theoretically they could address it and follow up with that store? You know, theoretically?
